I'd guess it's the super **** tires you have.
My Bighorn came with 20's that I believe had duelers(not entirely sure bit know it was factory ht's). At 26k they were getting close to shot. I replaced them after 1-2k of driving with a set of OEM take off Wildpeak AT tires on 18's.
These things...
Never said I was perfect. Just that i do what I can, to protect myself.
I will say I have been quite disappointed in every car salesman I have bought from, and defiantly agree with you that I had more knowledge on the vehicles I wanted then the salesman.
Doesn't make it right though.
No it's not, it's their job. I work in sales, not cars, but have many brands, and different products in those brands then I can give full details and specific build information on. These specs get updated yearly or so and I learn them.
Why? Because I get payed to and make more money myself when...
My buddy has a 99' Cherokee. There was a recall that installed a hitch to protect his fuel tank, but no wiring harness. He doesn't tow, so he never added a stock hitch, or wiring after.
I tow trailers multiple times a week in the warmer months, so I never take my hitch out of the truck. I have heard of these supposed not legal to keep a hitch in the vehicle laws many times, but nobody has ever shared a statute of it. Asked a cop once and he laughed and said no.
I have been in...
98 Honda CRV with a manual 5 spd. Learned to drive it for 6-12 months in a big industrial park before I got my permit. My permit driving was that CRV, and my mom's Suburban.
First car that was "mine" was a 95 Ford escort that a guy lived in for 6 months before selling to me.
I use a jiggle hose siphon to fill the truck quite easily. I place the gas jug up on my bed cover and slide the siphon hose a few inches in the trucks fill up tube the jiggle the hose to get the fuel flowing.
Much easier then holding the 6 gallon jugs up to a funnel.
Hello, I'm new to owning a ram, got it this summer. I had a Tacoma previously that was great in the snow.
The taco had 2wd, 4hi, and 4lo. In snow I'd go between 2wd and 4hi depending on how much we got as 4hi made turning a bit harder if it was just a light amount, and even in 2wd the truck was...
I'm not sure what's so bad about the start stop on the rams.
My mom has it on her Honda passport. It's slow and not smooth co.pared to the Ram and I don't like it. My buddy installed something so his F150 stays running saying how bad it was, but was in shock when he got in my ram because it was...
I bought the plastic trim tools from Harbor Freight to not mess up rhe trucks paint.
I found a YouTube video showing how to pry it up and off.
I originally wanted to replace with bought black emblems, but they were $50 per side....
I removed the logo, I did crack o e of the tabs but when I...
I have a 50" and a 60" Hisense H4 tv's that I bought last black Friday and during the winter.
Greatest tv ever? IDK, but I have zero complaints about them and am very happy with the picture quality.
Hey @Shifts And Grins Fab . Would you mind posting a specs drawing for the 4th gen version of these brackets? Those of us with previous versions who do not have the light coming straight through the opening are interested in where exactly the new hole would be located.
I don't know what...
There is a crease in that metal. I'd be shocked if they can fix that with pointless dent repair.
As far as how far to push it? Very far. You bought a new truck.
The day I bought the truck while on vacation. Swapped the scooter from the old truck to the new one and kept on driving.
I run a part time lawn buissness, and tow my mower and equipment around(I do not invert the tow mirrors)
And around the house tasks as well. Can never beat a truck.
I do a...
I tapped the high beams to trigger my lightbar. I would have preferred if there was a fuse in the box for highs like every other vehicle I've had, but there isn't. I had to tap into the high beam wire going into the housing.
That wire is run to the trigger on a relay. I also have a switch in...
You were pulling a huge massive sail behind that truck. Going forward that trailer has massive drag, and any side wind action will try and wag it around as well.
Trucks are rated for weight when it comes to towing, but wind resistance I find has a far greater impact then pounds.
I haven't...
