I refill mine when it reaches 1/2 tank all the time with 2.5 gallons of the blue DEF you get at Autozone or whatever. It immediately goes to full or around full. Did this with my 6.7 Cummins when I had it and now with my EcoDiesel.
I’m very picky about scratches and defects on a vehicle. I look at everything. The salesman I can tell was getting impatient but said it’s fine and he is the same way. I told him I inspect airplanes for a living. I took around 2 hours inspecting the truck comparing another truck which was...
Update # 2 or 3. Whatever.
Got a call from the dealer. They took the truck to a body shop. The body shop wet sand color buff, whatever first. And if they cut through the clear coat they’ll have approval to repaint anyways. And it worked. all those small scratches are gone. So guessing the...
You issue above the door will bother the hell out of me... And I do have the same issue that you have under you tail light. But mine is in door sill area. Can see it and feel it but eh... the door covers it up.
The other day I was about to live with my paint issue. But around 7pm when the sun is not as bright I walked out to my truck to get something and boom... I can see all the fine little scratches. Very notice when a amber type of light is hitting the side of the truck at a correct angle. Still...
Ok I got these pictures in the morning just right so you can see the scratches perfectly. Keep in mind these are not swirl marks and have been buffed out already. The detailer didn’t want to keep cutting into the clear coat. Buffed and polished.
and that is just the top part. There are more...
I still need to ask what shop the dealer is taking the truck to and how they are going to do it. Again I have til Monday to decide. And see if they guarantee the work.
Yeah I was told about mismatch and such. They are getting the exact paint from the factory that was use on the trucks, supposedly... Hopefully they are right. But yes I'm taking a big chance in this. The scratches can be seen clearly in the morning easily. But again you won't know it's there...
So purchase a new 2020 Ram 1500 Limited. After a long inspection of the truck I took it home. Couple of days later I notice scratches all on the passenger rear side of the truck bed. Now these scratches you couldn't see them in direct sunlight. Even in the shade you couldn't see them. The...
So if you want the Bilstein 5100 shocks there are different settings you can put the shock at. For the non ORG trucks setting #1 is stock, #2 -0.5", #3 0.9", #4 1.3", #5 1.7", #6 2.2", and #7 2.6". If you want it level do setting #6 or #7. To get a little more rake in the rear you can get a...
I had a month left from the Laramie. But it doesn’t matter when you purchase a new car. Sirius had to escalate the issue lol. Why? When it suppose to be automatically applied anyways. So let the waiting game begin.
Has anyone else that recently purchase a new Ram only got a 3 month trial for SiriusXM and Traffic/Travel?
I had a 2019 Laramie and it had a 1 year Sirius and 5 year Traffic/Travel when I purchase it. No issues with the radio trial.
I recently traded in my Laramie for a Limited and after...
I got a 2020 Limited ED from a Laramie Hemi etorque. I love the Hemi but 12 to 13 city driving was killing me. I love now seeing the 25 to 30 city! Love it!
I did.... went from a 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie ORG. Did a bunch of mods to the truck. Installed all by myself: Amp Power steps, installed OEM LED bed lights and the tie down rails, Airlift 5000+ airbags, Front Bilstein 2" leveling shocks/rebel rear shocks, 1"rear spacer, KO2 tires and oil catch...
