    2023 Laramie flooded won’t start

well...I'm a retired insuance adjuster, so for what it's worth , here goes. First off, the truck IS totaled. Engine is hydro locked, and no carrier wants to deal with that. As far as the wheels? If you want them, just take them off, and put stock set up back on, they add no value to the ins co...

Dealer Quote for Brakes is $2K - Thinking to do it myself

as long as the rotors are still withing spec AFTER they get cut...you should be good for a long time. A tip for getting more life out of a rotor...if you do a moderate-hard stop, like coming off a highway exit, where you go from say 80 down to a full stop, when you come to the stop, let your...

Dealer Quote for Brakes is $2K - Thinking to do it myself

this is nuts...$2K!!??...I picked up a set of front pads at Autozone for like $140 or so...truck doesn't come close to needing yet at 45K miles...If you can, have the rotors cut...will save you tons right there over replacing them.

    Air conditioning doesn't cool well

nope...as soon as you pull it apart, and stick your fingers in there...it becomes a potential fail point! Where there was one factory clamp, there is now 2 shade tree mechanic clamps...and a "valve" from who knows where in China.....I can take my HF clamp off in 1 minute and inspect for any...

    Air conditioning doesn't cool well

you clamped it too tight man. My 19 shows absolutely no damage...how would it make the walls thinner? "Each line clamp is specially designed to stop flow without damaging or compromising the hose." HF Clamp kit

    Air conditioning doesn't cool well

nope, the clamp does NOT kink the hose, just constricts it a little if you don't crank the **** out of it...I'd much rather have 1 weak point, than 3.....
