Thanks for all the info! If its just for noise reduction and i believe its been like that (loose and laying in there) since November when i got the truck, i will hold onto it but its not worth the work to me or going to the dealer for a piece of foam. :)
Thanks! It was completly just loose floating in there. shoving it back in, it would just be loose in there again. Its suppose to have a plate holding it in place like the right side but does not look like i can do that without removing the fender.
OK, well it didn't really fall OFF.... I had the driver side door open and saw a piece of foam inside the front left fender. Was not attached to anything and just pulled right out from the top with the hood open :
Looking in the Right door side, you can see another one that is held on with a...
Door slightly ajar would be my first thought. Especially since you were turning at the time. It will do that with an open door when in drive. As they said, everything is computer controlled, so would wait to see if it happens again but that would be bad at 65mph.
The Prius drivers give the same look here as I get in my 15mpg truck until I tell them my e-torque truck HAS a battery. Then they just call me a liar. Then I threaten to run them over while they are in their little toy car if they dont drive away real quick. :)
Use to always keep one of the grocery story plastic bags for garbage but now that NY has outlawed them (I think you get shot on site if found with one) and you only get paper or have to bring your own, I buy 20 lunch size paper bags from the dollar store and use those. I figure I throw them out...
I bought everything I need. Just waiting for a nice 70 deg weekend day that I can spend probably 6 hours to Wash, Clay, Surface prep wipe then ceramic coat. Actually not looking forward to it now that I saw how much work it will be. Then deciding if I want to get a polisher that would be...
Thats what i did too. The first row is the same as the second so i can just press a few more times and get to the front of the list again. I dont mind it actually, because it makes it easy to scroll throw the stations while driving til something i want to listen too is playing. :)
I know they say a maximum weight of 2000lbs, but everything i had looked up referred to the "multi-function" tailgate when they say that. I thought i had seen 1100lbs on my bighorn when i was researching it when i first got it but dont remember where that was. My Polaris 450 is i think 550 lbs...
Yes they are on the expensive side. :)
I figured for $165 when I bought mine, if I didn't like them I could replace them a year later and not feel too bad about it. Its only been a couple months with them so cant say how they will hold up over time but otherwise very happy with them.
I was lucky even to find a 2021 1500! lol No one had anything in stock around me in November. When my bighorn night edition showed on their website with 95% of what I needed, i told them i would take it. They told me it was on their site but would take weeks before it would arrive. Next morning...
Yea, you have the 12" screen Laramie so if you have nav you must have gps but if the instrument cluster is the same, I see no option to display speed limits on there. My bighorn without nav, i see it when i go to the maps on android auto on the 8" screen. I too wish that would carry over to the...
Well I dont know if the higher end models have nav or GPS but my bighorn has no nav. It gets the nav from the phone. the 8" screen does not have a nav system and when Android Auto is connected its just displaying the nav from the phone. So it would make sense that the GPS is just coming from...
I have only used 87 since I got it, runs totally smooth. Got 3500 miles on it now. I believe the manual said 89 is recommended if towing/hauling which I rarely do.
Since there is no GPS and its gets GPS from android auto or apple car play, their would be no way. Its annoying to me too since my other vehicles had that option and my wife's Subaru does but its the downside to the GPS not being in the truck itself. Upside is you get to use Google or Waze maps...
I just put these on a few weeks ago. $165 on amazon. I could not pass that up. So far very happy with them, they feel solid.
"YITAMOTOR 6 inches Running Boards"
My wifes Subaru has this as a feature, its so you dont have to hold the break when you stop at a light then you tap it to restart the engine But I dont have that in my 2021 Bighorn with auto stop/start and I dont know if its available on the higher end RAM's but your message says you have a...
