My 2 cents....tongue weight will affect you well before you hit the max weight the truck can pull. Check that payload sticker in the door jamb, add up all the "stuff" you put in the truck plus the trailer tongue weight and see where you are compared to the payload capacity listed on the sticker.
I have a little over 50,000 miles on my '21, and I just noticed the passenger side has this problem, and looks way worse than the pics posted here! It's crazy how a somewhat flexible part can gouge the metal that bad.
I had a set put on mine last summer, and have the same thoughts as you, very good tires I have no complaints. We haven't had a lot of snow here in Michigan this year but the tires did great in what we got. I went with the stock size, same as what was on my truck, and they rub with the wheels...
If you are looking for quiet, the Centerline TS might not interest you. I know mine pops pretty loud when turning, 2 years later my wife still jumps and comments about it haha. On the positive side, it's awesome, never even get a wiggle out of the trailer!
I've never seen anything regarding a hard limit on length, I'd be curious if something exists. Our Jayco is 30 foot tip to tip, and we use a Husky Centerline TS WD hitch with sway control, it really pulls great, and I still have the stock tires on the truck too. It really sounds like we're out...
My two cents, when we got our travel trailer I took it to Discount Tire, they installed the trailer sensors with the supplied metal stems. Going on two years now, no issues - no leaks, work great. My thoughts, why piece it together with different stems, they have to take it apart anyway so...
Only two months later, I finally have the receipt from them doing the work on my truck! The TSB listed on the repair order is TSB 05-005-21 for the brake moan.
Yea, in their defense, it is a really cheap looking clamp. I wish I was more confident in any of the dealers in my area, just don't really like dealing with any of them. This place hooked up with with this TSB, and with the USB module with absolutely no hassle, but they did lose my wheel lock...
I do not have that info, when they were putting one of the clamps on the axle they broke it, they were supposed to get with Mopar to send another clamp, I haven't heard back on that yet, I haven't called to ask them neither. So I didn't get a copy of the receipt of the work they did, because...
When I had my Rhino Liner sprayed in, they sprayed right over the plastic covers, went around them with a razor knife, popped them out, and here is the new light in the hole, can see a tiny bit of paint on the bottom only for some reason.
So the dealer replaced the hub, Carplay is working again, should be interesting to see how long that lasts. The service writer did suggest to maybe unlink the phone from bluetooth, so it's not trying to connect by bluetooth, then with the cable when I plug it in. To me that really sounds...
For what it's worth, my dealer just told me the '21 has been added to the TSB within the last week or two. Just had mine done today, hopefully the kit works, we shall see...
Another vote for 303 Aerospace here....I use it on all the exterior plastic trim, and my tonneau cover, makes the stuff look better than brand new in my opinion.
Mine is not heat related, it's been in the 30's here in Michigan, and my Carplay is out again, going on two weeks now, but the ports do charge my phone. Dealer is replacing the hub but I'm not confident this is a long term fix.
I just had my '21 in yesterday, told them about the rear brakes moaning, stupid loud. Seems like the TSB was originally for the '19, but later included '20. They told me the '21s were just added to that TSB within the last week or two, so they have the kit on order for me. Figured it was...
So my problem has come back for the 2nd time, front USB is power only, Carplay will not work. I still plug my phone in every time I get in the truck to see if it will start working but it doesn't. Took it to the dealer yesterday for them to look at it, and was so happy it didn't magically start...
No idea, they told me they didn't have time to look at the Carplay issue today, only did my oil/tire rotation. Either way, something glitched it back into working. Maybe I just have to keep my wife and her phone away from my truck! haha
Little update to my front USB only having power only, and Carplay no longer working.... Took the truck to the dealer today for an oil change, told them about the issue, got the standard response, "never heard of that". On the way home, needed to charge up my phone so I plugged it in. To my...
