I've heard that the Regular cab accounts for only 5% of the market.
I did a crude ms paint rendition of a regular cab using my Quad Cab.
What do you think?
I have a non truck friendly garage too and got around it by having a tennis ball hanging on a string from the ceiling.
When pulling into the garage I line up the tennis ball to the center of the instrument panel and pull forward so that the ball barely touches the windshield.
It works...
There are 2 different styles of bezels for tow hooks.
The Rebel uses part # 68274703AA and has a rectangular cutout for only where the tow goes through the bezel.
Bighorns, Limited etc use 68274701AB bezel that is totally opened up and has a gap around the tow hook.
From the manual 89 is recommended 87 acceptable but may result in light knock.
The engine has a 10.5:1 compression ratio so use 89 octane as RAM suggests.
You're right leveling kits on the back reduce payload unless adding bags or shocks, the rake isn't that much for this truck.
The payload was removed quickly when I got to my destination so it din't linger.
Seems like the most I've had in the bed before was 16 bags of mulch.
Sticker shows 1,827 pounds this includes occupant and cargo so fluids are included, although it had only 1/3 of a tank.
I was pushing the envelope and it was just me driving. Luckily I didn't have far to go.
I recently helped out my brother in law by picking up a pallet of flooring he had ordered.
The load worked out to be a pallet of 48 packs of flooring weighing 1,750 pounds.
The max payload is listed at 1,970 pounds for my configuration 2019 RAM Bighorn QC 4x4, 5.7 Hemi w/ 3.92 gears and limited...
This is the same issue I ran into a year ago trying to add folding mirrors to my truck. The dealer wasn't able to add the needed sales codes to my vin.
It must be a Mopar accessory before they can add a sales code to a vin.
Hello RAM CARES are you listening?????
Unless passive entry is in a Mopar accessory kit you will not be able to add the sales codes to your vin to wake up the circuit.
I can't add heated mirrors to my Bighorn even though it's standard on it. The trailer tow package removed that option.
FCA are you listening???? Change this policy...
I used a plastic trim tool to pry on the corner then pull and it pops out.
Attached are some pics of what it looks like with the badge removed...it would be nice if there was a grille there instead.
I'll be curious if the dealer will add the sales codes to enable the power fold option. Good luck I hope it comes through because it's not much work to add sales codes it's FCA that won't allow it.
Mine shifts fine with 8500 miles on it and always starts in 1st from a stop but maybe applying this software update wouldn't hurt.
What is the TSB # for non-e torque 5.7L ?
