I wonder if you make like you are going to trade it in when you get it back, the dealer might factor in any reduction in value?
If so, that paperwork might be valuable to help with your claim if you compare it to blue book value for a trade in of your truck before the accident.

46K on our Ram. Had the water leak by the driver's door which was fixed years ago under warranty.
Had a dead battery right at the end of warranty replaced
We don’t know how many miles the OP has put on since he reset the oil life. Before disconnecting the battery, maybe reset it again and keep track of the miles.

My truck was built a month before yours. Battery failed in just over two years, but I had 36001 miles on it. I read on this forum that Ram got a bunch of bad batteries back then, and it was so bad that they had to go to a different supplier for their batteries.

Since your water leak seems to be coming from the back of the cab, this info might not be relevant. My leak came from the front drivers side. If you park with the front end uphill, the water may be running to the back of the cab...
I don’t know if you know that back in 2019 there was a battery problem that according to what I read on this forum, FCA changed battery manufacturers.
I wish you good hunting!

Bring jumper cables. Most likely you will be OK.
My 2019 battery died with no warning earlier this week after sitting in the garage for a week and a half.
If I was you, I would check the battery voltage before you go. If less than 12.5, put a trickle charger on it overnight and see if it...
At the time, I was not aware that the oem batteries are junk. In my last four vehicles, the original batteries lasted 4-6 years and the replacements barely made it through the warranty period.
If this new battery dies quickly, then that will be two strikes and I’ll get an aftermarket battery...
I got lucky with the stock battery?
I don’t see where you come up with it being a three year old battery. By my math it lasted just over two years from my delivery date.
I live in northern Illinois where it’s not nearly as hot as southern Arizona.
I would reasonably expect the battery to last...
Show me where in the warranty it’s listed as a wear item like tires and oil. I’ve been around long enough to know how long batteries last. I’ve read on this forum that there were a bunch of defective batteries installed around the time my truck was built. So many that they had to change...
Ok, I guess I was going by these pages in my warranty.
And yeah, I should have mentioned the mileage on the phone. Unfortunately I didn’t notice until after I jump started and started driving. I thought the picture was enough.

Well, the failure happened before the 36000 mile mark, right? I probably should have let them tow it the last two miles. Also, their claim that the battery is only covered for 12k/12 months kind of upset me too.
Battery was dead after sitting in the garage for a week and a half. I called the dealer to see if they had a battery and if they were open. Yes to both so I jump started the truck and drove to the dealer. On the way the odometer rolled over 36k.
At the dealer I said I hope it’s covered since I’m...
