I had the issue initially, where it would click off a few times, but it essentially went away, I don't know why, but hadn't happened in years.
Definitely check with your dealer, hopefully it's just the vapor cannister filter.
On a somewhat similar issue, my new Waverunner had an issue taking...
If it had an IRS, it had to be a Lighting, especially if it drove like a car.
The regular F150 still also has a leaf spring rear suspension, which isn't as smooth as the RAMs rear coil springs. The F150s ride quality isn't as good as the RAMs, it's one of the reasons why I switched, along with...
Were you looking at the EV Lighting? That's the only "F150" with an independent rear suspension, which doesn't have a traditional truck platform even though the body looks like a regular F150.
All regular truck based gas/hybrid F150s have solid rear axles.
It doesn't end CARB, it will be years in litigation, that's if they actually try to push it, Trump hasn't mentioned it once since elected, especially since manufacturers already said they plan to continue following it regardless of EPA changes.
But, never say never.
There are no bodywork changes, just bolt-on parts like the headlights, lower headlight trim and grill, the tail-lights is the same dimensionally, bed, etc.
The lower plastic moldings are a slightly different design, but the metal they are attached to are the same.
As mentioned, to be sure...
CARB is the issue, I don't think it's great, but it's still there and it ain't going away anytime soon, the question is what manufacturers will build to and what they think the politics and policies will be in the future, they are not going to reset only to have to reset again.
I don't think JD...
Probably because they know it will be temporary and may only last as long as the next administration.
Most manufacturers have already said they likely won't build down since it will take them out of sync with the rest of the World in terms of technology they will need to sell globally...
Remember that a 12v battery will show a lower than actual resting charge if it experiences any drain, such as turning on the accessories or even opening the door and having the doom light on. That 12v you see on the dash with the accessories on isn't accurate.
The best way to know your...
Gotcha, can't you time the clearing of the code for your inspection?
Even in CA, it's easy to do, once the light is cleared on an OBDII, you should be smog ready after about 75 - 100 miles of driving. Of course this is assuming your light doesn't come back on right after that. My sensor took...
Not in my RAM, but my F150. It popped up early, maybe at the first year, but I just used my OBDII reader to clear it, it would take about 1,500 miles to pop up again, so I just kept clearing it until I was near my warranty ending.
They had to drop the fuel tank to replace the sensor, assuming...
Paint is only covered for 3 ys / 36k miles, and it's never included on any Mopar extended warranty.
Luckily, spot fixing something like this from a good body shop is relatively easy, assuming no corrosion underneath.
It's possible this could be something from a spot repair prior to delivery...
As always, just in case, double check your fuse box in the engine bay, in front of the battery, flip it open, check to make sure all the bolts are tight. Should take about 1 minute to do, but a loose bolt will cause all kinds of battery and charging issues.
My truck was built on Jan 2019...
You may want to have a muffler shop check it out, they can lift the vehicle up and check on the exhaust from tip to tail and see if it's something loose.
Don't worry, that research would have resulted in you spending hours reading some rather interesting threads, but in the end would result in no definitive conclusion to which is better.
In the end, it's what you're comfortable with and prefer to believe in. You can run either, it's your...
