I have a 2020 Ram 1500 with the 5.7 hemi, i noticed it this morning 02/25/25 that in eco mode at a low gear while slowing down at a stop sign/ red light or even just traffic that the eco like “burble” sounds more like a spin wrench or a ratchet wrench whatever you may call it and its like aggressively loud. Any help is appreciated. also let me know any experiences with an issue similar and how you went about it. Thanks.

Does it sound like something internal in the engine or something down the line vibrating?

Hopefully it's something in the exhaust that's maybe loose and that when you're in 4 cylinder mode it causes a vibration.

i dont really know honestly it sounds like its mainly coming from right underneath the cabin. like i opened my driver window and it sounded like right there… but then again the single to dual exit exhuast runs closer to the passenger then it does to the driver so not 100% sure will definitely need to look at a few things this week.

You may want to have a muffler shop check it out, they can lift the vehicle up and check on the exhaust from tip to tail and see if it's something loose.
