There is no accessory position on the push button ignition switch anymore, like there always was on pre-2025 rams. There is only off, and run. When the ignition is in run (engine not running), then ALL of the systems are on as if the engine were running (hvac system, headlights, etc). When there...
I don’t think any of the 2025 1500’s can be configured for trailer surround view. It seems to be a feature listed in error on the build site. Every 2025 I see online has the AUX 1 and AUX 2 camera keys, instead of Trailer Surround and AUX 2 camera keys.
It’s never really been addressed, but another harness would need to be built for it. I would need you to look at some connectors to see if any/how much of the wiring for it is present.
Is there a 10 amp fuse present in F41 of the engine bay fuse box?
If those settings are set to no in the BCM, then the fault sense wires are disabled. Sometimes the BCM just doesn’t like certain LED lights, and you just have to wire in resistors.
It’s not about forgetfulness, there’s no technology that can overcome that.
It’s about having technological backups to the different ways to access and start the vehicle.
I think the thought before about the key card was, “what use is this thing if you have to get it out of your wallet, hold...
The digital key card may seem useless at the moment (because if you have the fob in your pocket, then why would anyone want to physically pull out the card and use it).
But he’s explaining that once SPAAK becomes available and working, THAT’S when the key card becomes relevant, because it will...
Try shutting the fault sense circuits off:
CBC Config I/O Usage: Left Front Lamp Diagnostics Present - Pin F25- NO
CBC Config I/O Usage: Right Front Lamp Diagnostics Present - Pin F28- NO
Just clear them. They are the result of the headlamp switch being unplugged. You’ll need a security gateway bypass to clear those faults with a scan tool. Otherwise, ignore them and they’ll eventually go away.
Basically, you would just buy the upper glove box parts and swap them in. You’ll need to plug a jumper adapter into the connector that was plugged into the screen (because unplugging the screen breaks communication from the gateway to the radio module).
In your radio, vehicle > settings > display > fuel saver display > on.
This setting is what makes the eco mode light show up in the cluster if MDS is on.
Pretty much. It’ll basically be “whoops, sorry, made a mistake”.
They’ve already scrubbed those features from the rebel level 2 package on the build and price, and they’ve already started generating window stickers that don’t reflect those features anymore. Price of the package stays the same...
It would be practically impossible for a dealer to install them. They would need to swap out the tail lights and headlights, swap out the left chassis harness, body harness (entire interior comes out for that), and left dash/engine bay harness. Then after that, the body computer needs to be...
It’s a quick little light dance sequence on the headlamps and taillights that only happens when you unlock the truck. You can see it happen at about 1 minute in on the video below.
The problem is, no rebel or Laramie can be equipped with the headlights and taillights lights that are capable of...
