you got off easy. mine had 5 miles on it the Sunday I purchased it. Didn't take it because service was closed and it was fresh off the truck needing PDI or whatever they call it.
...got in the morning with 26 miles on it - and a 1/4 tank of gas.
evidently, programming the computer is gas...
lol, some of these terrible numbers are making me jealous. I'm lucky to get 11 in the city, but my commute is super short with many stops, so not too surprised. Highway getting about 16.
I already own a Prius, so save it. ;)
lol, i love the california bashing that goes on in these types of threads...yet the population continues to explode.
so now in addition to hugging tree's, we are hugging none licensed or insured drivers? Do we give them free weed when the cops lets them off too? Anything else?
lol, ok.
I'm looking at an American Roll Cover from Truck Covers USA now. Looks like this one may be a winner. Rollup canister is only 8"x 8", they have better drainage then the other roll-ups, can accommodate t-rails, leave access to the stake holes for a real rack and can open without opening the...
Costco has 6-quart packs of Mobile 1 for 28 bucks till the 20th. No clue if that is a typical sale or not, I usually don't do my own changes but will with this truck. Just hit 1000 today and will do soon.
The only numbers that matter are what my insurance carrier will cover. I assume that is what the door sticker says + whatever the investigation determines was the cargo at the time.
you still have to back up to connect the trailer before any 'auto off with cable attached' is going to work anyway, so get use to hitting the button, or buy a 30 foot trailer cable and pre-attach it so you can avoid pressing a button
I plan on saving 40 lbs or so and going with a bedrug over line-x for now. i'll do the line-x someday after i finish beating the hell out of it for a while.
looked it up, more like a 70lbs savings
I'm in tonneau cover hell right now. Few options for what I want.
I want something extremely secure that I can easily have crossbars for storage above, allows access to the stake holes and is virtually waterproof. What I would like basically is everything. I want the bed covered, dry and...

Just called to price a Retrax Pro XR and the price Lucus gave me was excellent. Couple hundred less then lowest I had found to date. Will order from them.
i'd kill for 16. my current tank, 3rd tank since purchased, it slowly working it way down to 10.5 mph.
i expected a mph hit. i didn't expect a 33% drop off the sticker numbers.
Super confused, I ordered the 'w/flare' flaps and the fronts appear to line up, but the rears are way off. If I line up the bottom bolts, the top one is still completely exposed (ie, the flap does up extent up enough to reach the top bolt)
Are WeatherTech part numbers 120092 (rear) & 110092...
Great news, I'll give it a search. Stuff like that are the best part of online communities.
I have a Rebel 12 with a Sunroof and that is it, so I should be pretty close to the top of the range. I have not towed much historically, so when we eventually buy a travel trailer, I'll stick in the...
