I've had the QTP electric cutout on my truck for the last year and love it. Complete stock quiet to insanely loud with the click of a button - mine dumps right after the cats when open and makes glorious noise.
In honor of purchasing my truck a year ago, I created a replica of my truck. Pretty decent model can be bought on amazon here - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XTPGNRS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_3m-.DbNH2MCPT.
I could only find red and white trucks, which is great for many members here, but I had to...
Could be interesting! Pardon the sloppy edges, it was a quick job. I also used a different photo and noticed when I was done that it was a two-tone truck so thats why the bottom of the doors are covered up in white haha.
Yep - I almost bought a leftover 2018 but then got my 2019 for almost the exact same price. I happened to look online at 2019s two nights before I was heading out to buy the 2018 and thank god I did haha.
Yours really makes the difference with those 37s! Looks monstrous.
Ever since I updated my iPhone XR to 13.1.2, my CarPlay has been super glitchy. If I am listening to the radio/SXM then plug in my phone for CarPlay, it won't let me use the radio and keeps switching back to the media playing on my phone. It will briefly play the radio for ~2 seconds then switch...
I did the QTP cutout on my truck - same opinion as you. I think the sound is awesome when it’s open, and I love the ability to shut it off and go stock quiet whenever I want. Yes, it may not sound as good as a full Corsa system, but you can’t make those quiet when you want to relax on a road...
I‘ve got an AFE intake on my truck too. Super easy install and I did notice some nice differences. I've got an exhaust cutout on my truck so when it’s closed (stock sound) I can majorly hear the difference, especially when you hit higher RPMs where the intake sound is deep and loud. I think my...
I opted for best of both worlds - installed a QTP exhaust cutout before the muffler. Glorious noise when its open, and at click of a button it is bone stock.
After running a Flowmaster 40 series w/out resonator on my Hemi Jeep before this, having the opportunity to turn off the drone is a...
Congrats! How do you like the MFT tailgate? Are you planning to do any sort of tonneau cover on it? I ask because I am curious how that will work with the barn doors.
We've got matching trucks - mine was pre-blackout package so that was all work I did separately.
Conclusion: dealer replaced left front stabilizer link and the sound is gone! All done under warranty, rental included.
If you live in the DFW area, avoid Metroplex CJDR at all costs (this was one of many bad experiences) and I highly suggest Richardson CJDR as they are the best I've dealt with...
Update: new dealer found the issue within a few hours. Replacing the left either swaybar linkage or stabilizer linkage...forgot what exactly was said. Warranty thankfully. I'll update when I get it back and have the written diagnosis and hopefully a fixed truck.
Update: took it to the dealer, they said the sound was a rattling cover on my fuse box. I called bs, because this noise is a metal rattling sound, not a plastic box lid rattling on plastic. They claimed they didn't hear anything else after driving it.
I picked it up, noise is still there and...
I really really really really really like those wheels. I've seen them posted around Instagram but usually on renders...nice to see them actually on a Rebel. The concave looks so sick. Well done!
Esteemed fellow Rebel drivers,
My truck has just developed a significant rattle sound from the front end when going over bumps. Sounds like its coming from the driver's front. Upon what brief visual inspection I can do without a lift, I can't see anything wrong, but I am also no expert.
I'm...
I've got the backflip MX4 on my truck and love it - I don't have Ramboxes though.
https://bakindustries.com/bakflip-mx4/2019/ram/1500
My only complaint is that with small hail for a short period of time, I've got a bunch of little pockmarks on it when it is supposed to be able to hold 400lbs...
An assortment of clean/dirty photos of my truck (black) and a second Rebel (silver) I picked up from Avis so my buddy and I could go off-roading together (y)
Note the discrepancy between the front license plates being on/off the trucks...serious design flaw from Ram that the front brackets are...
