For those of you who are installing the 5100 Bilstein front shocks. What style of spring compressor are you using? I am undecided if I will upgrade the front shocks yet. I already have a top hat spacer. I may just leave that in place as my truck sits the way I like now.
However, I have a hard...
This is interesting. They are both considerably more expensive than the Bilstein struts but with the Bilstein you have to reuse your front coil springs. I wonder how much difference there is in ride and handling between stock, Bilstein, Fox, Mopar Fox kit and Icon. Both on and off the road. I am...
Thanks for the information. This sounds like something I may be interested in. Are there corresponding rear shocks available? Are you getting those too?
Thanks guys! I found it and unchecked that box. Now I can activate the rear sensors again and not worry about the brakes stopping the truck when backing out of a sloping driveway
It’s the biggest complaint that I still have about my truck. And it really shouldn’t be an issue. It would be so simple for Ram to fix this. They have to know people still complain about it. You would think one of the engineers would take a truck for a drive around sunset to see the problem...
This is my first truck with the Ramboxes. It won’t be my last. I was on the fence about the Ramboxes when I ordered my 2013 and didn’t get them. I had regretted it ever since and made sure to get them this time. I love having them. Just wish they weren’t warped
That is something only you can answer. I would do it again on my truck but I was able to put it on by myself. I wouldn’t spend the hundreds of dollars some shops charge. Although I understand why they charge so much. I wouldn’t do it cheaply either
I prefer the stiffest setting. Don’t really notice any harshness to the ride but it does take out more of the wallowing feel. I drive some roads with a lot of turns and switchbacks and the stiffest setting makes the truck handle much better
