    Trailer sway with air ride

Change to an Equal-i-zer 4-point WDH and set it up with the bags set for "aero." The Equal-i-zer is a noisier setup, but the rigidity will help combat the bounce of the air suspension in combination with having the bags at lower inflation.

    Hi!

Welcome! Have a long read of the forum and you will be well informed!

IDENTITY THEFT - protect yourself NOW

Thanks for the information and warning! Too many ways to track citizens these days, and all of them involve computerized databases. I don't consider myself a tin foil hat guy, but I do fully believe we're all targets of the unscrupulous. Personally, I've been obscuring my VIN purposely since...

What is the Minimum Ram Payload: A Contest with No Prize!!!

AH, then what you really mean is your fantasy! The big SUVs were downgraded long before 2014. In fact, my 2004's configuration was the highest towing capacity that GM ever had in the big SUVs. I had to laugh last night when I saw Ford's new commercials boasting the Expedition with 9K towing...

Protecting painted bumpers on Sport 1500

You don't say where you're located, and that's important as some markets have a ridiculous markup on PPF! One of Xpel's best applicators is a good friend. For the 5th Gen, his regular retail price for the bumper is $575, and this includes full prep of the bumper (wash, IronX treatment...

Protecting painted bumpers on Sport 1500

My 2014 Sport had the bumper, grille, partial hood, leading edge of fenders, A-pillars and all the front lights done with Xpel. Money well spent and I got top dollar for that truck! I drive a lot on less than stellar roads so I consider Paint Protection Film a must for me!

    SPOTLESS WINDOWS

Invisible Glass from Stoners has been my normal glass cleaner for more than 39 years. Safe for tiny films. Vinegar in a spritz bottle will take out hard water spots that are young. After that, you need to use a glass polish. One of my favorites is the one from Griots. After a thorough...

What is the Minimum Ram Payload: A Contest with No Prize!!!

You just missed your dream then! I sold my 2004 Yukon 2500 XL SLT 8.1L that was pristine with 56K on it and I added factory NAV from a later model and installed the reverse cam too. Big floating rear, 4.10s, hydroboost. Tow 10K all day long and yield you an average of 10.3mpg. The big...

    License Plate Reverse light

If you used the harness method, unplug the flat connector the bar is plugged to and either check continuity between the two terminals used if you have a meter, or use a 9V battery and feed the positive and negative from it. A 9V will dimly illuminate the bar. If good there, check to make sure...

    License Plate Reverse light

First I've read with an issue. I'm running 3 myself between both trucks and my camping trailer. Did you verify you don't have a wiring issue?

Surprising finding - comparing the MPG of my RAMs

Lol! Fat fingers and a tiny smartphone keyboard! Let me proofread and adjust. Only scenarios 1 and 2 were mistyped.

Surprising finding - comparing the MPG of my RAMs

So, for the past two months I have had the opportunity to run both of my RAMs over the exact same routes, multiple tanks of fuel, various climatic conditions, and computed MPG by hand as also recorded what the trucks were suggesting to be the mileage. The comparison is my 2019 RAM 1500DT 5.7L...

    Expel Paint Protection Entire Truck

It's only money. You'll make more tomorrow! You certainly will have a lot of protection but you really do need to appreciate that you can also have problems. I have been using Xpel film a long time, and I focus on high impact areas. It won't yellow, but it will look rough in high impact...

Front right passenger seat. Any way to move the tracks back 4 inches?

Very few vehicles are designed for straight leg extension. Those that come to mind are super cars where the only focus is driving. Sounds like maybe you should look into a seat swap and ditch the split bench and go with the dual power buckets. I'm 6'-5" and my wife 5'-10" and we feel the...

Hi everyone, this is Matt from B2 Fabrication

An honest exhaust shop should charge you $100 or less. It's literally one cut and a bolt-on job. I literally installed one for a forum member here in my garage with the back lifted only by tire ramps in 20 minutes. I used a chain cutter to very cleanly make the one needed cut. Barely earned...

Looking good again! My 5th Gen is almost whole again after Mother Nature tortured it with hail!

Hi everyone, this is Matt from B2 Fabrication

Trip to hardware store, buy a pair of thread cutting machine screws (not sheet metal screws), and run them in. Totally reversible and more permanent than JB (less than plug welding).

    Center console trim glare

Don't dip it! Wrap it with vinyl of your choice, or step up to a custom hydro graphic finish! My nephew does at least 3 a month with vinyl. He just did a Sport with a really high end carbon fiber look vinyl and by far that's been my favorite look.
