Hi everyone. My name is Rob and I just bought a new Ram 1500, and so far love it. I traded a Chevy for it and I can't get over how much stronger the Hemi is over the Chevy 5.3. I'm also really impressed by the ride quality. My Chevy was a 4X2 and this new Ram is a 4x4 and the Ram kills the Chevy on ride quality and cabin comfort. I was kind of easy on it the first week\week and a half and checked my fuel mpg and was getting 16.8 (although the trucks comp stated 17.5, not sure how they are doing their math?) and my mph on the Chevy was around 17.5 so no huge drop in fuel mileage.
I'm almost at 1000 miles and will do a full synthetic oil change this weekend and will re-post mpg again after I get some new oil in there and see if it changes at all.
It has been years since I have owned a Dodge product, so does anyone have any tips or tricks for thing to watch out for? Any problems people have needed to address with the dealer etc?
Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend this weekend!
