I recently removed the center dash area that goes from the top of the dash to the lower switch controls. Hope this helps you in that direction.
got to 2:45 in this video...
I had read of options like this, including using the home link transmitter for control. For this job, I like the location and not having the need to poke my hand up or find a remote.
I figure, if I need to put an original piece back in, I can buy it from the dealer, or eventually a junk yard. I...
I finally got the time (and courage up) to start working on my led light bar install on the front of my 2020 1500 Bighorn. I like SuperBightLeds because of prior purchases that really work to my satisfaction (cost, durability, effectiveness). The dreaded switch location was my concern, which is...
I’ve been searching for an aftermarket bin for under the rear seat of my Bighorn Quadcab. I’ve seen threads on crew cabs, ...
Pics and links please, unless theres a thread here that I may have missed.
Thanks!
My jeep cover has side mirror elastic straps, tie downs at the door handles. As long as it’s taught, I don’t think it will scratch paint. I’ve never had an issue.
But I also think a storage location is the best suggestion.
If you’re looking to just cover the cab, I used my old Jeep cover to protect from the sun. Bigger covers for cab and engine area can be bought. If you’re looking for whole truck, might want to look at RV storage rental.

Nice write up! I was going to install my single row led light bar in the lower grill, between the sensors. My light bar is not curved, so it woul d not fit flush. I looked at the exact same area you installed yours, and that seems like a better fit. when I get around to it, I’ll take pics and...
That’s an interesting concept, one I had not thought of. If you have pics, sure would appreciate it. But, the facts of higher lumen output speaks for itself.
Thanks everyone, for your helpful information!
I managed to wrench them on with no issues this morning. The upper bolts threaded on by hand. The lowers needed a little wrenching, but nothing strenuous.
I bought these side steps

which have awful instructions. Looking at some YouTube videos, people recommend cleaning off the paint on the OEM studs prior to installing the brackets and start with the...
Can this be done?
When Im towing, I like to see the load area once in a while. Instead of pressing the camera button all the time, I would like for it to be always on.
Been a Jeep Wrangler owner to have my 4WD needs met for the past 17 years. Farm use and winter weather driving needs. Got tired of the rough ride in the Jeep, so I opted for a truck and chose Ram. Bought a 1500 Bighorn on 4 July. Love the ride and already hauling things I couldn’t do without a...
I'm not ready to spend the money required to upgrade to LED (housing, etc..) so I chose to try these Osram Night Breaker Unlimited bulbs. At $32, that seemed reasonable to try.
Whiter light (3600 Kelvin), 1350 Lumens. Runs at 55Watts, and I expect draws a little more than that.

I like my HuskeyLiner mudflaps. Sturdy and exact fit to existing trim! Extra hardware (single screw and clip for each flap) for a total of 4 screws holding them in place. Just the right amount of coverage to keep mud, rocks, and eventually snow, off the side of the vehicle. My sidebars are...
