I asked - dealership specifically said they would not do that. While i would have liked 33, i don't drive much (2019 bought in 2018, i'm at like 30,400 miles), so a 23 is fine for me.
I mentioned in another thread, but here's my parts list w/ dealer quoted pricing (depressingly cheaper online).
68584756AA (23 gal tank) - $471
68580832AA (Fuel vapor vent) - $126
55366298AA (O ring/fuel pump & level) - $74
and 3 hours to install.
I'm getting my 23 gallon tank replaced end of this week for the same issue. Tried all the angles, etc, just wouldn't take fuel for more than 10-15 seconds at a time. Makes for a very long fillup.
Parts for my 2019 are (w/ dealer quoted prices):
68584756AA (23 gal tank) - $471
68580832AA (Fuel...
Hmm.. that's not a bad idea. Will consider, thanks!
Hmm, yea, not sure what to tell you there. I think the quote (which i thought about taking a photo of, but of course did not - would have been helpful here) had $340 for just the tank alone.
I just got back from the dealer as my 2019 Ram (26 gallon tank) is not taking fuel in, and they said Ram changed the tank replacement parts at some point recently (? Not sure when). So the old tank assembly was replaced by the 3 separate parts, the tank, the vapor tube and the o-ring.
This was...
This has happened to me a few times as well (not bright white but static-y or otherwise unusable), but it seems like a software issue and not a hardware "camera" issue to me. As you found, shutting the truck off for a bit seems to fix it.
That being said, I have replaced the camera in my truck...
It does sound to me like a programming issue. I bought my set from infotainment.com, and their kit includes the mirrors, mirror modules for both sides, and the switch just for the drivers side (and the security bypass and OBD Genie for programming). If you have all those minus the...
Your post is from nearly a year ago, but I’m responding anyways. I’ve bought 2 trucks from Autoserv (which got bought out by NUCAR) my current Ram and a Nissan Titan (2012), and have had good experiences with their service department. Had my rear sliding window and trim and 3rd brake light...
Hopefully it’s fixed! Worth noting that I haven’t had the problem since my post back in May (with nothing having been fixed by my dealer), and that includes sitting a few week-long stretches during the NH winter.
If it happens again (and i remember), I’ll suggest they check those items your...
I picked up one of the windscreen covers. I bought this one, and it fits, but barely. Would probably go with one of the ’truck’ ones if I had to do it over (it’s a stretch to get the hooks over the mirrors, and i don’t have the tow mirrors anymore even). I also do not put the flaps through...
Yup, I’m also in NH and paid similar (~$700ish) when my truck was new in 2018, but I reg’d it in October with my birthday in May, so i only had to pay ~60% of that. NH registrations definitely not cheap, especially the first couple years. I’ve always lived in NH, so I’m used to it…? I guess.
I was poking around, and I can’t find the transmission model listed on most of the presser stuff i’m seeing about the G/T. Have they confirmed this somewhere? Everything I’m seeing is that it’s just ‘got the console shifter and shifter paddles from the TRX’, while referencing it’s an 8-speed...
The TRX uses a different version of the 8-speed transmission than us normals, so I wouldn’t be surprised if all those parts don’t actually match up to our transmissions.
Ours are the 8HP75, TRX is the 8HP95. However, truthfully, I don’t know if the differences are purely internals, or if the...
Same here. My winter setup doesn’t even give me an indication (warning lights, etc) the connection with the TPMS was interrupted. It does take a few miles/minutes for the PSI to register correctly.
My most recent tank, mixed driving. Hemi/eT/3.92, but honestly i think a good part of it is the Bridgestone Dueler tires. Decidedly non-offroad tires. I bet if i swapped over to Rebel tires, i’d immediately lose 2-3mpg just due to the off-road tread.
I didn’t hand calculate to verify, as I...
When I switched my tires in my old Nissan Titan to heavier (but stock size) BFG A/T’s, my MPG dropped from 17.5 to 14.5 highway. Never saw 17 again! :) My point is some tires just decrease MPG.
Reprogramming probably isnt a bad idea, but before you drop the cash, could just hand calc MPG for a...
Unfortunately, auto start/stop has been so shoddily implemented by so many other manufacturers, I wouldn’t blame anyone for dismissing it immediately. Using the battery/starter is annoying as hell, and frankly, if Ram had used that on our trucks, I would have been annoyed by it as well.
That...
Going completely from memory, when the truck is on, hit the down-arrow on the left side of the steering wheel (provided it’s displaying MPH by default) once.. or maybe twice? one of those ‘tabs’ is the ‘vehicle information’ tab, and there are like 8-10 options you can navigate using left/right...
My battery appears to have died after sitting from this passed Sunday through yesterday around noon when I tried to drive it. Got in, no lights, no chime, no dash, absolutely nothing came on.
Tow driver put a booster on it, and we got it up to like 11.x volts, and all the dash lights came on...
