Yeah there's still not a lot of good audio information on our trucks and what's here is pretty chaotoic. I just asked one of the moderators if he'd be cool with me temporarily moderating some of the audio stuff into a more organized, searchable format.

I built my own given how limited the options are. Not finished yet but it'll fit a 400w shallow mount 10" sealed.

I should have noted that I haven't yet cut the hole.

I couldn't find any single, sealed sub boxes for sale so I made this one. About .55cf and designed for a shallow mount 10". I will upholster it to match the black leather. It fits under the drivers side passenger seat. I have a SketchUp cad file if anyone is interested.

There isn't **** out unless you want to take up all your volume or do some wack ported dual 10" setup. I'm going to make my own similar to the dude who fitted one in his limited. There's enough space on the passenger side I think if you fit a sub that doesn't need more than .5cf.

If you're going to keep your truck for a while or even plan on selling it not looking like ****, do yourself a favor and spray line it. Your bed is the single place most likely to get scuffed and begin to rust, it makes the bed more durable (no lie, true stuff), and you'll never think twice...

All valid points but if you want to lift it, big bigger tires on, and ever see 8th gear (especially at altitude), 3.92 is your only choice.

Mine just did it too. Turns out there is nothing good on Sirius, even when it's playing underneath my music.

My rear view mirror looks like it has a sensor for dimming, but if I look closely there's a ghosted rectangle right in the middle of the mirror that looks like it may be for something. Am I tripping?

I'll do it myself but I'll have to get it aligned by someone with a rack. There's only one part on the whole frame to cut for this install, just a lot of nuts and bolts.

I don't think so. Personally I think the factory screens are pretty nice so the 8.4 might be nice to have. When you go to replace your speakers, it's all going to be from the amp on anyways. Get whatever feels right, it's not going to affect what your choices are down the road.

Ah okay thank you. I was thinking a little bit more about that yesterday and I realize now that there wouldn't be any way to do that given the wiring diagrams that I found on here. I think I'd rather have better sound than a quiet cabin. Same with you?
