This picture was taken in west texas on the Rio Grande river road from Lajitas to Persido. I was doing speed limit most of the way...55-65. Now before you get to excited we are on an extended road trip. If you look at the bottom left and bottom right you will see total miles and towing miles...
OK after 2k pulling my Airstream around Texas can anyone tell me why my trailer back up steering always needs calibration . For example today I pulled into the local KOA after driving a good 150 miles with turns stops and etc. I go to back up use the trailer joy button and it tells me that I...
Just started on a month at a time road trip pulling our 22' Airstream. The Airstream loaded weighs about 3800-4000#. We have been cruising the interstate from the Tampa area to Baton Rouge in the past 3 days. Approx. 850 miles traveling at 66 mph and the 3day average so far is 12.5 mpg. This...
Unless you can tell me exactly how to I beg to differ with you on turning off the all the lights. There is no such setting in UC. You can turn off the daylight running lights but there is no setting for all lights off. What I meant on the radio is when driving if you turn off the radio the...
After a 1,000 miles here is my opinion of the Ram 1500!
Lets start why I bought the Ram. High on my list was the side cargo boxes and the split tail gate. Reason was that we would be towing a Vintage Airstream and having ease of access to the towing gear is winner.
What I like
The ride...as...
Like I said in the original post...no on reverse. Driving in city mode at level 5...which really wakes the truck up. Reverse has no noticeable difference from stock. Put this in track mode at 5 and you will really have alot of smiles and go whoa!
Just got done putting in the Banks TC. Let me tell you this! If you watched the videos and see the people laughing ...that is NO BS- After the first run I just started smiling and then laughing. Installing a TC makes a big difference in how the vehicle performs. My wife even said when we first...
Looking for some feedback on the TRSC. I wonder if I am missing something. After reading the manual it says that the TRSC will remember up to 5 vehicles. Every time I have used mine, it tells me to re calibrate. When working I do like the feature because it keeps me from over correcting...
Update on this thread...I took my truck and Airstream to the weigh station. The combined weight of the two was 9620#
The trailer weighed in at 3640 # un hitched. Hitched up it weighed 3240#...So that tells me that there is 400# of torque weight. If I keep it balanced then I should be good to...
My old Ridgeline had it ... I think they were the first to make it a standard item. Buying the ram with the MTG was a must. Ditto with what everyone said.
I like my box...only thing I would (thinking how to) like is the box to have a split lid, so that you could open it with the passenger side seat down . A lot of times I have the DS up and only use that as a quick dump place.
