This picture was taken in west texas on the Rio Grande river road from Lajitas to Persido. I was doing speed limit most of the way...55-65. Now before you get to excited we are on an extended road trip. If you look at the bottom left and bottom right you will see total miles and towing miles. Right now the towing miles seem to be in the 12 mpg range and when we are doing day trip 16 to 17 so overall average is about 14.
Just a factoid...however I am happy with the trailing mpg.

The information in his sig says he has a Hemi. Pretty decent fuel economy. My truck says I'm averaging almost 16.5 mpg in mixed driving conditions. That's 2 mpg better than my old truck got.

The key is only going 55-60mph. Most people don't do that and it significantly impacts mileage.
Very true. I consistently get 19.something mpg with my Rebel. Then again, I am one of those strange people that drive the speed limit.

How do you configure the instrument cluster to give you the trailering miles?

Best regards,
Dusty

I like the additional trip meter for towing, That's cool. Wish my Laramie had that. But I run between 12 and 13 MPG when pulling a travel trailer, about 5000 #s.

It is in the menu area. The left button on the steering wheel. However I am not sure you can accesses this unless you have the trailer tow package.

Ah. Maybe that's why I've not seen any menu item for this.

Thank you!

I've got the trailer tow package, but in a Big Horn. I do not have that menu option in the cluster. Looks cool though.
