Mine had a smell to it... it’s normal. I believe it could be something to do with bacteria, but it’s nothing abnormal. A few hot cycles kills it off and you’re good to go. All cars that my parents have ever owned did it for the first few times in winter, then it stops.

I’m hoping to fit it in the garage when we move out of our condo and into a house. Shoveling 3ft of snow off in the morning isn’t fun... If that fails, it’ll live outside on the driveway and my summer car will live in the garage over the winter (when I can get one...)

Sounds like you didn’t install the fuse back into the new lead. I made the same mistake. It seems like the truck is “on” but there’s no ignition. You HAVE to use both fuses.

This is the one I did this weekend... My other one was done months ago and is a little more of a scar, but same principle.

Just flash them back... :D I haven’t had anyone flash me yet, and I’m constantly worried mine shine way too high.

Today was an annoying day... I curbed my right front wheel trying to get out of a stupidly small parking lot. I couldn’t get the angle to go down the ramp due to someone with a long truck parking in front of it. I knew this would happen as soon as I turned in, but at least I only got the rim...

I bought mine from Brunswick Auto Mart Wholesales. They weren’t the quickest to get in, but I got them all within a week of purchase.

Front lights are in! I broke two clips, one on each side, as they just wouldn’t release. It hangs on fine... and I’ll replace if it gets worse. I’m happy with the result, though. Can’t notice it unless you know to specifically look for it. Even then... good luck finding the issue. :)

Not today... but tomorrow...! I will be picking up my headlights (they are waiting for the left tail) and installing them. I can’t wait. :D
