Does anyone here actually own a Power Wagon and are they freaken amazing? Is it really like driving THE truck that other trucks envy? Like when you drive by an F150 or Sierra do you sense they feel inadequate when the big Power Wagon is in the house?
That's actually a great point. I thought I noticed a trend with more failures in Edmonton (huge truck town) super cold like way more than Ontario but also zero humidity, super dry cold: may-be it cracks or dries out rubber seals in addition to effing with the copmressor.
I know this issue has probably been covered numerous times on other threads but are the air suspension systems in the Generation 5 rams really better then air suspension systems in the Generation 4 rams. By "better" I specifically, 100% mean cold weather reliability? I live in Ontario Canada and...
Man I would love to program my LTD such that each shock is on one of the four heigh options. Example: right front (off road 2) left front (aero mode), right rear (entry/exit) left rear (off road 1)...
The LTD in every single way: ride quality, fuel economy and interior room beats the PW...but I know that every single time I see a PW I will want one...
Actually wait, are you LTD to PW guys or Rebel to PW guys sure the PW interior is smaller??? I thought the center console in the 1500 series trucks that goes all the way to the floor is removed from the PW??? Wouldn't that mean MORE leg room for stretching out...not less?
TRX is cool don't get me wrong. PW just seems like such a manly truck. I wasn't aware that a 1500 series LTD Gen 5 interior was actually bigger (not smaller) than the PW interior. I would have guessed the PW was much bigger insider...
Hi I'm a truck poser, which is to say I'm a guy that really WANTs a truck, but I don't actually need one for work. I work in a dam office, which sucks, but pays well and so here I am. I thought the truck I wanted was the Ram 1500 Limited. I watched dozens of video reviews on it and I thought it...
Just bumping my own thread because these a/s systems had a bad wrap up here in freezing Ontario. But if this is a matter of a few bolts being twisted that's easy...Anyone in Ontario or Northern Ontario own a 5th Gen LTD or LHorn with a/sand zero faults for say 100k in cold weather.
So there's an Air "purge" noise thread on this sub forum. My question is, was it indeed determined that two little quarter turn nuts on the lines coming out of the air compressor are THE failure mechanism in most cases of Gen 5 system failure? Because if so, that sounds like a pretty easy fix...
Man if it turns out that those little quarter turn screws coming out the compressor housing are all that fails periodically, and that all that's required to fix them is a slight turn, then I considered these a/s systems fixed indeed. That's too easy. There's videos of guys dropping $4,000 to fix...
Okay thanks. So what does ORG combo mean? And also what is a Hellwig? Also for Zogg45 thanks I didn't think about adaptive cruise that way. Now that you mention it: does that package also have the feature where if the truck thinks you're about to smash anyone it stops?
Okay so I have created a list of nice to haves and need to haves. I live in Ontario Canada where extended patches of cold weather are a reality. I know the AS on the LTD and LHorn were upgraded for Gen 5 and Although I really, really would like to have AS this is ultimately an option I can pass...
Sorry typo. Is THE failure a valve that gets condensation around it, which when frozen obviously limits/prevents use and then the air compressor what has to keep punching in new air into the system and which overheats it and then that's the failure? I get that a compressor would be a bit of $$$...
