This to me is somewhat good news… keep them fix them and then give us our trucks. I do not want to get a 85k truck to just have to take it back to the dealer for a problem they don’t know how to fix. Yes it sucks for all of us that don’t have our trucks now but in the long run it will be better.
I’m not sure lol I’d rather be out of a vehicle than deal with another new vehicle that has issues. You lose faith in the vehicle quickly especially when you spend all this money on a truck you expect it to be problem free
from the people responding here it seems like all models. Haven’t heard anyone post about a limited but not many are in the wild. But it also doesn’t seem like it’s engine exclusive both the 3.0 SO and 3.6 are affected so I’d assume that the 3.0 HO would also be affected.
Mine has been in JS status since 8/5
which was also the estimated ship date but that wasn’t updated when I got my update on Thursday. So no clue when my truck is going to ship. Losing the last little bit of hope I had that I’d have my truck for vacation later this month.
Nothing in the bed unless you get the upgrade for the onboard power. Only caveat to that is you cannot order the onboard power yet and no one knows when it will be available to order.
Heard back from my dealer… my truck has been shipped to storage and the estimated ship date has not been updated from 8/5. Not exactly sure what that means.
I lemon lawed a truck last year. File a formal complaint with ram if you haven’t already and then contact the better business bureau. I didn’t even need a lawyer once the BBB was involved.
I emailed my dealership this morning for a status update. After I sent the email I received an email from ram customer care say that my truck is either in the final inspection state or waiting to be shipped and they’ll update me further at the next step. I’ll wait to hear back from my dealer...
From my understanding the longest part of the builds is probably the quality control and or fixing things that aren’t right off the line. That will cause the most delays.
I feel like it can’t be a huge number of the sold trucks just enough of them from the same production runs to make it seem like there’s a lot. That could just be wishful thinking on my end.
I feel like every person who posts here about a check engine light on their dealer tells them it’s something different, which leads me to believe they’re all just pulling these diagnoses out of their *** 🤣.
