It was mentioned that somebody's dealer told them it may take "8000 miles for the truck to learn your driving style". That seemed and seems like a ridiculous distance to travel for the truck to act properly. I too HAD the jerky shifting, real bad when weather was cold.
Something changed at...
Mine is Patriot Blue and I think it would look good with black nerf bars, but it came with chrome. Mine has painted bumpers.
I did have a brown Outdoorsman with chrome bumpers that , against the dealers warnings, I had them put black nerf bars on. Even the dealer admitted it looked better than...
Thank you. I understand what it does. My fear is that it will make the current 3rd gear instant increase in acceleration that much more quick. My trucks acceleration through the first 2 gears very much needs the SB or PC. It's the current/stock jump when it gets into 3rd that I don't want to...
I too have the delayed throttle response followed by heavier acceleration with the same pedal input, 2 dealers both said "it's normal". I thought about the pedal commander but fear that the lag followed by a jump to life will be dangerously exaggerated by the pedal commander since it only...
@jdmartin pretty much summed it up. On the Big Horn's North Edition, Sport Appearance and Black Appearance, prior to the date they were convinced to remove it, Ramtrucks.com build site stated "mirrors w/memory" were an included item with those packages, along with a clear definition of "mirrors...
At the time you purchased the truck, it was listed as part of your "package"(Sport, North, Black) on Rams website. It also had a definition of what, "mirrors w/ memory" is. Half the things listed as "included" as part of the package aren't on the window sticker, but are on the build sheet...
I like this forum, grant you I haven't been here long or been to every thread. I did however save a couple hundred dollars because somebody here found a cheaper way to buy the factory trailer brake controller. I recieved $250 because somebody posted about the "Bonus Drive" rebate. I also...
You are correct that we have a Laramie Sport with that hood, but the Sport, Black Appearance and North Edition being talked about in this thread is the Big Horn.
If I learned anything from this forum it is that, if your truck didn't come with it you need to add wires and/or aftermarket harnesses to get it. Sub-woofer, speakers, radio upgrade to Nav. and bed lights come to mind. Very few upgrades seem to be simple OEM plug and play like an in dash brake...
You can get a Big Horn with Sport, Black Appearance or as a North Edition in the U.S.
No "line of....", just go to Ramtrucks.com and check for yourself. Trust me, the Big Horn does not have the proper wiring harness or module under the drivers seat required for "mirrors w/memory.
That being...
I know, "pics or it didn't happen"...I recieved my check Saturday.
A co-worker who leased a Big Horn w/ Sport package just made a deal with his dealership for the nice OEM rubber floor mats and a couple free oil change coupons as his compensation for his missing "mirrors w/memory".
You want 4hi on loose sand. I learned that from the locals in Hawaii after getting my rental Jeep stuck on a beach in 4 lo. Also lowering tire pressure to 15-20lbs was suggested by them.
"Bricked" is a term commonly used in regards to smart phones, but extends to all electronics. Basically it refers to the item being nothing but a brick, paper weight, rock, because it no longer does anything except take up space. Completely dead.
I was. My case specialist called me to tell me they were working on removing it from the site. That is why I warned you guys.
It was in their best interest to do so.
