If you have a mopar evts then thats probably the issue, if not then start with the charging system and battery. If it sits a lot without being on a maintainer then you have a sulfated battery and needs to be replaced.
You don’t need to unplug it, just cut 2 wires (or all of them) and then use a gray connector (they normally do) to delete and make a new key. You just won’t have a working uconnect by cutting the wires.
You unplug it and some functions are active if married BUT you simply use a key programmer like an im508 that also is a diagnostic scanner and relearn your throttle parameters after you delete snd make a new key. Its a plug and play deterrent (barely
IGLA lets you keep all factory options and doesn’t delete or write eeprom chipsets like tazer. Compustar adds full alarm and tracking and lets it remote start with a check engine light on unlike factory
I have worked with third garage a few times and talk to gearhead all the time. My trainer is flying in on the 29th to train them on compustar so they can offer it as well.
You have probably a 20% chance of an airtag helping you locate a vehicle that you are supposed to try and prevent from being stolen. Trying to locate it after the fact makes no sense. You don’t need to find an airtag, you just don’t have any compatible devices in range and you will never get a...
And how exactly will an airtag help you? It only works if there is a compatible device within range to transmit location at which point it pops up on that device saying there is one in range so they turn it off.
It activates with the door open and when they get 300 yards it demands the pin only if the vehicle is setup for anti carjacking, mopars do not shut down over can unless its setup correctly and thats only on a few ram models (mainly dial shifter.) please don’t tell people how to change settings...
Glad you still got and another loss for the scumbags that tried. Unfortunately they probably will try again. Like Eighty said I do have some window stickers available that will hopefully mitigate it in the future (if they can read..)
I also have custom neutral blockoff plates with stainless...
It doesn’t matter how you install the spts, it can be bypassed in seconds and it can stay installed 100%. You can still delete and make a key too. I am a compustar pro dealer and fly all over the country installing full security packages and won’t install something that is a total waste of time...
Correct. They pair well with each other, IGLA stops the theft, compustar lets everyone know they are trying. Plus it has app control and tracking. A few of us do anti carjacking and I take it a step further and do remote shutdown option through the drone app.
totally incorrect. Its plug and...
That video is a known fake and has been out for years. That IGLA also is one that isn’t used and hasn’t been. You are not hacking something that gives off zero electronic signature until you enter a pin. If you have the pin then why the need to hack it. Ravelco on the other hand takes about...
Not true at all and with vehicles getting harder to find and steal they have no problem cutting it off. Cops recommend everything because they do nothing. As for the faraday thats one method used less than 10% of the time. They just make a new key, far cheaper for them to do. I also install an...
