Saw that, tried pulling another one off using a pair of pliers and the outer ring snapped right off - so it came out but will need to be replaced. The one I had previously ruined I got out with a drill. So it looks like I can get them out but will need to buy new ones. It'll have to do...
Probably, just found this and they look the same as mine...

But they will not come out that outer plastic rim on the cap just bends and breaks. Frustrating because I already bought the bulbs and it seems like it should...
Bought trim removal tools to remove my taillights, wanting to replace the regular bulbs with LED’s. On the videos I watched these pieces popped right out but on mine they won’t budge and just break off. Do yours look like this? They don’t have a regular solid plastic head on them, they’re...
Personally, I'd rather have a slightly used 5th gen than a new 4th gen for the same price. Not sure if that's something you'd consider. I got a 2019 with 11,000 miles (crew cab, 4x4, 5.7L, level 2), stickered for $48,125 (US) new and I got it for $32,800 - which is about 33% off.
My truck is stock and I'm planning to keep it that way (with the exception of Line-X and a tonneau cover). I do want to gradually upgrade from halogen to LED bulbs. I wasn't going to fool with the interior lights but I ordered 194's for the license plate bulbs and apparently they're already...
I prefer the exterior of the Silverado but once I sat in a Ram it was no contest. Plus my price range was under $35k. Ended up getting a 2019 Big Horn w/ 11,000 miles - 5.7L, 4x4, crew cab, level 2 for $32,800. If I had gone with a Silverado I'd have been lucky to get into a WT for that...
Well, crap, I searched "2019 ram change license plate bulb" and the first video was from Diode Dynamics showing how to do it. Now I see that video was made in 2014. Could only see the bottom of the tailgate and bumper so I couldn't tell it was an older model. Seems odd they would use LED on...
I have a 2019 Big Horn level 2, no LED light package. Wanted to gradually upgrade my lighting to LED bulbs, starting w/ rear lights. Videos showed the license plate bulbs were removed by twisting the housing. When I went out to install the bulbs the first thing I noticed is each side appears...
The overlays are silver, right? The 1500 looks a little white on my monitor but I think it's silver. I have a billet silver too and was thinking of going silver or white for the 1500 and red for the 5.7L HEMI. How was it putting them on?
Figured I'd post here instead of starting a new thread... I'm wanting to gradually upgrade to LED but I'm on a budget. Figured I'd start with my taillights and work my way forward. Just wanting to double check and make sure these should work on my 2019...
Turn signal -...
Dumb question, what's the point of the spacers? Just so it's not set back so far under the tailgate? I'm thinking of ordering this but using magnets to stick it on.
Was thinking about adding the Opt7 LED light strip that goes above the rear bumper. It sticks on and doesn't sound like it comes off very easily. I'm just curious how long they should last. I'm a little paranoid about sticking it to my truck and then it stops working in a year or two...
I only see a 3 pack and they're sold out (and not sold in stores)...

You can probably use the dimensions to find something else that works. The width of two fits pretty nicely across the back of...
