Re damage, I asked them not to wash it so during inspection (at MD) I noticed a few very light scratches in the driver side ram box. Aaron wanted his detail guy to look at it but I wanted to get on the road. He said to take it to a detail shop when I got home and send him the bill. I already...
Don't have a clue what your issue is. But when I picked mine up, I parked the rental car right next to the RAM. We had connected our phones to the rental. So when we tried to connect to the RAM CarPlay would be fine for thirty seconds or so then cut off. Then reconnect a few seconds later...
Production delay was due to supply chain, the factory dealing with covid/worker shortage/ etc.... But I was monitoring this site multiple times a day checking others BW and WS.
Many other builds included my missing options so, I have to assume it was just screwed up.
I asked them not to put any dealer logos on, but sure enough their was a dealer sticker on the back window. So not much danger of them screwing that up. They did have a dealer license tag bracket which I left on until I got home. Not going to do any good anyway advertising for a dealer almost...
I will not take delivery until the dealer removes the stickers. I tell them well in advance not to put them on and most of the time they comply, otherwise they have to get their detail guy to come remove them before I sign.
Don't mind at all. Ordered in June '21 (details in sig). Was built 10/29 but they left off adaptive cruise and surround camera! The camera was a deal breaker! Aaron tried to get the factory to run another build down the line but couldn't talk them into it. Reordered 11/3 (transferred...
In my case it was their fault so no issue. If the second order was screwed up, and their fault, I do not have any doubt they would reorder and transfer the deposit. Totally different story if I just decided I wanted a different trim level mid production.
So In your case twice and done is...
My first order was screwed up so I refused delivery. I reordered (even added/removed a couple of things). They just transferred my deposit to the new order. Don't know how it would be handled if I just changed my mind!
Aaron Ginsburg, Sales Manager. Email, call, text. Have your build ready from the RAM website so you can send it to them and get a no need to negotiate price! I dealt with Aaron but it seems that anyone on his team is stellar! Don't know anything about the 3500 market.
It actually does work that way! And you are correct that you have to wait for another truck to be built and keep your fingers crossed.
In my case, due to all the supply issues, I waited 6 months for my first order, then 3 months for the second order. A pain in the butt, sure.....but I'm...
Not really that long. The biggest adjustment for me (first RAM) was the dial shifter. Just navigating all the settings in Uconnect took some time and there are probably some stuff I still haven’t stumbled across.
Not a bad idea! Coordinating delivery and PPF/tint/ceramic timing would have been a nightmare for me. So I just left it in the garage for a couple days fiddling with all the bells and whistles.
Sorry the OP is having difficulty and can understand the frustration. However I have never had pickup/delivery/pickup service.
I think in many cases, it comes down to the service advisor. I had a Lexus IS250c that the battery crapped out under warranty. I was on the phone discussing how/when...
@Ram-a-Kin you are exactly right! I guess I didn't notice it when I swapped them out since they were below eye level. The silver being exposed doesn't really bother me since you have to look deep into the socket to even see it. But what may be a problem is the way they are seated!! I swapped...
These are the ones I got from Summit Racing. I don’t see any silver, the entire lug is black and the wheels are night edition Limited 22’s
