I would check another dealer just to see what they say. It could be they can’t get parts for Ram Boxes. Also likely they may not want to fool with a factory order, hence also trying to steer you away from a 6’4” bed.

If you want the 6’4” bed in the 5th Gen 1500 then you are out of luck with having Ramboxes. They have never offered Ramboxes with the “long bed” in the 1500 with the new platform. If you want the 6’ bed and ramboxes then you would need to move up to the 2500.
BTW, I love my crew cab “long...
Go to discount tire and have them price match.
I saved $600 utilizing Walmart’s price on my 295/65/20 falken wildpeaks.

Just FYI in I was quoted 6,800-8000 to repaint a 4th Gen and that was factory color, that was not jams or engine bay.

You don’t need to remove the springs to install. There is a video how to for it.
I jacked the body up with a floor Jack at the hitch receiver. Folded the bags up like a taco and zip tied them. Put the upper cups in the top seat cup, then slid the bags between the coil.
I also ran the air...
Looks “OG”. I’m planning on going the same route, except I’m looking into commercial sized filter tanks that I will just rent and swap out. DI water is so much more efficient and drastically reduces swirls.
What pump did you go with?

I replaced the passenger tailgate actuator. It was $35 or $40 I think. It solved the need to shut with force, pushing in to open, and intermittent not latching on passenger side. I always thought the issue was bed cover rails. It has never worked better, even from new.

Smart move on the stainless option. I’m on my second set of the standards. And rust is coming through on non wear areas. Not too happy with quality. Zoom in on the passenger front face. Also showing in some weld areas. They have been meticulously cleaned and maintained too.

I have a broken bolt on my 19 Ram upper bolt on cylinder 8. The trucks built pre 6/18 (I believe that is the date) did not have tie bars. Luckily the head is popped and the stud is not broke flush at the block.
Looking at shorty headers since I have 97k and well outside of warranty.

Will update when I do it. Luckily the bolt head popped at the manifold and not the block. I just need to verify the Remflex gaskets work. I’m sure they do since it’s still a Gen3 block hemi. I did make it over 95k before it broke though.
In all reality any gains will be bonus. Not buying...
I’m gonna pull the trigger on AFE shorties soon. I have a broken bolt on cylinder 8. My truck was pre tie bars so my bolt broke instead of cracking the manifold.

Ok it was 88 something. I had 38k on this
Then when my stocks wore out a 44k I swapped them out to the ram since they only had one third tread worn. Put the new set on at like 94,500. They still had usable tread like 1/6th tread left but the truck was starting to loose traction in the rear on...
