Clarification:
I’m using Supreme grade fuel, that’s the only reason I can think of, why I’m getting a touch better mpg than some others...
I averaged 14mpg in my 2010 Big Horn-Crew.
Car and Driver states that (in my case), that my 2019 Lone Star is 338lbs lighter than my 2010 Big Horn. Might be...
I bought some AVS in-channel window visors off of the “Real Truck” website. $63 I prefer them over the tape on ones. I think they look more stream line and easier to install. Don’t need to worry about alignment. They fit perfectly up in the window channel
15.5mpg average for me, around the Boise area. I have a Lone Star-Crew Cab w/ 1300 miles. That’s with 80% city driving... (unfortunately)
I was averaging 14-14.5mpg with 4-600 miles. Seems to be slowly improving with more miles, as I’m breaking it in
I have the same type issue with my LR Door not properly latching/closing.
I went to the dealership yesterday, and left very frustrated, and honestly pissed.
1st: the “lead mechanic” didn’t look a day over 20yrs old, and was a “no-it-all” as punks that age usually are.
2nd: he Was a little smart...
Update from my dealership-trip yesterday:
I went to the dealership yesterday, and left very frustrated, and honestly pissed.
1st: the “lead mechanic” didn’t look a day over 20yrs old, and was a “no-it-all” as punks that age usually are.
2nd: he Was a little smart a##, and acted like I was nuts...
Not at all.. my driver side-rear door is off alignment I think (19’ Big Horn-Lone Star). I can’t see any variation in space gap’s/differences between the door and cab, but I sure as hell can hear a sound difference. Haha! it doesn’t shut/latch like my 3 other doors. A little more wind and road...
Any updates on where we can get the entire LED Headlight assembly’s?
Any aftermarket options yet? I don’t wanna waste that much money, on just LED bulbs. I like the style and look, a lot better on those, than just my standard halogen assembly look... wish I was more observant when I bought my...
Mine does the same thing. 2019 Lone Star ORP, with 1000k on it. It’s been getting better as days and miles go by. The dealer told me, that it’s some kind of protective spray they put on the motor and rotors, when/while the trucks are being made in the factory. I don’t know if he was full of sh...
I see conflicting answers when it comes to a 2” Level Kit, added on top of the factory 1” ORP Lift.
True or False:?
Adding a 2” (Rough Country) Leveling Kit to the factory Off-Road Package, will make the 2019 Big Horn/Lone Star - exactly Level? No Rake visible...? Rear end doesn’t sag? (Rear...
What are the dimensions of the box? Height? (From the bottom touching the floor, to the top of the box touching the seat) Width? (from foot area storage bins to the back of the seat/cab and length? (passenger side to drivers side of seat)? I see they make a lot of sub boxes for F150’s ( no cargo...
Was it a pain, to remove the rear door panels to install upgraded 6x9 speakers? I can find videos all day long on YouTube, for this process on the 4th Gen’s, but nothing on the 2019/5th Gen’s.... what tools do you need?
A 12” will provide a little deeper bass for rap/hip hop, and a 10” will be a little more “crisp/tighter” bass for rock/metal music. I got the 10” Kicker CompR sub. It needs only a small box to perform well, which is what I like. A 12” requires a much larger box
I’m also trying to figure this out.. I’m trying to find a “Crew Cab specific” subwoofer box. I bought an “Atrend” 10” box for my 2010 Ram Big Horn. Made specially for the 4th Gen models. I can’t find anything for my 2019
Where can I get a subwoofer box, to put a 10” Kicker Comp R sub? I can’t find any after market box’s that will fit perfectly under my back seat. I looked everywhere online that I can think of..... I have a Big Horn - Crew Cab
Hey, I traded in my 2010 Ram 1500: Big Horn-Crew Cab, for a 2019 Ram 1500: Big Horn/Lone Star-Crew Cab, w/ Off-Road Package.
I need to buy/install some good mud flaps for the front & back, spray-in bed liner and maybe some nerf bars or some type of step for the kids to get in easier.
What would...
