I think it's a mix of problems leading to these CEL issues. I think Ram rushed this truck for consumer purchase before thoroughly venting issues during testing, if any. Yours is a PCM, mine is/was a fuel pump, another was an airbox...too many gremlins. It shouldn't be like this being without...

That's a different Star Case # than what I was given (not surprised though the way the Service Department personnel were). Just a few comments from your attachment....Did the US government put out those diagnostic instruction? Wow...LOL...and I'm surprised they didn't ask what the owner ate...

I did buy a scanner and will use it when a code pops up. So far no noticeable cold start issues but I'll be on the lookout...I have typical warm up RPMs that settle out before I head out for my daily business.

Update on my CEL misfire issue...so far so good. Put a few hundred miles on her and the fuel pump replacement has been the answer (I hope that didnt jinx me). Sounds like a lot of different solutions given for the same CEL misfire problem on this thread. I hope everyone gets some resolve.

I got my truck back Friday. They replaced the fuel pump and so far (probably jinxing myself) all is well. Hopefully the Star Case is available for all dealerships and this is the fix for everyone and not a bunch of gremlins plaguing these new trucks.

Well...fuel pump did not come into the dealership yesterday (I dont know why this is srprising given the run around Im getting on this issue)...no call from the Service Tech. I call the Service Department and another Mensa Society inductee looks up my information and cannot find any notations...

Update my 2025 Ram 1500 Laramie CEL issue...fuel pump supposed to be in mid next week (their fix atm)... Service guy asked what fuel I put in it ( I see where this is going...gonna try to blame me for the problem like some others on this thread). He said the Regional Service Tech is on the job...

That's what the dealership told me on my first CEL visit that it was a software update. The CEL was cleared but within 2 weeks it was back on...now still at the dealership since July 8th...

My 2025 Ram 1500 problem child Check Engine Light is a Laramie...really want it back...fuel pump on order to arrive July 31st....I hope this kicks the problem
