    2025 RAM 1500 BIGHORN 3.0 I HURRICANE twin-turbo, SO, 420HP - check engine light

My concern...I seemingly have tackled the CEL demon when they replaced my fuel pump (at least what they said they did - I'll confirm when I look at my service paperwork). I have not had a CEL since. When I have my first oil change service, will they do this "software update"? And with no CEL...

If they tell you it's the fuel kindly tell them that's bullsh*t and point them to the many other reasons discussed in this forum thread. I'm guessing you'll have one of the many gremlins discussed here and unfortunately it will be up to your service department (hopefully competent and training...

    2025 RAM 1500 BIGHORN 3.0 I HURRICANE twin-turbo, SO, 420HP - check engine light

I think it's a mix of problems leading to these CEL issues. I think Ram rushed this truck for consumer purchase before thoroughly venting issues during testing, if any. Yours is a PCM, mine is/was a fuel pump, another was an airbox...too many gremlins. It shouldn't be like this being without...

    2025 RAM 1500 BIGHORN 3.0 I HURRICANE twin-turbo, SO, 420HP - check engine light

After getting my truck back from the 2nd CEL for misfires the Service Tech stated to use 87 octane....it didn't make sense to me since I used 91 octane in my '09 and zero issues....I would think a turbo vehicle would like to drink the higher octane as well.....but, I've stuck with 87 octane with...

    2025 RAM 1500 BIGHORN 3.0 I HURRICANE twin-turbo, SO, 420HP - check engine light

What octane of fuel is everyone buying? Since I got my truck back I've stayed with 87 w/ no ethanol and (knock on wood) no CEL again....yet. so far fuel pump has fixed my issues.. I hope I'm in the clear and can move on.

That's a different Star Case # than what I was given (not surprised though the way the Service Department personnel were). Just a few comments from your attachment....Did the US government put out those diagnostic instruction? Wow...LOL...and I'm surprised they didn't ask what the owner ate...

I did buy a scanner and will use it when a code pops up. So far no noticeable cold start issues but I'll be on the lookout...I have typical warm up RPMs that settle out before I head out for my daily business.

Update on my CEL misfire issue...so far so good. Put a few hundred miles on her and the fuel pump replacement has been the answer (I hope that didnt jinx me). Sounds like a lot of different solutions given for the same CEL misfire problem on this thread. I hope everyone gets some resolve.

    2025 RAM 1500 BIGHORN 3.0 I HURRICANE twin-turbo, SO, 420HP - check engine light

I was temporarily on my Fatboy while my problem was getting taken care of by my dealership. I never mind some wind therapy. I can't believe there are so many solutions given on this thread for the same CEL issue. It makes me a bit suspicious. I wouldn't give up on Ram's because of...

    2025 RAM 1500 BIGHORN 3.0 I HURRICANE twin-turbo, SO, 420HP - check engine light

So far so good, but I dont want to jinx it though. Im going to give it a few more hundred miles before I think its all good. Ive been putting 87 octane with no ethanol in it from the same station to have consistency. I really want to get a bed liner, tonneau cover, and a step/running board...

    2025 RAM 1500 BIGHORN 3.0 I HURRICANE twin-turbo, SO, 420HP - check engine light

I got my truck back Friday. They replaced the fuel pump and so far (probably jinxing myself) all is well. Hopefully the Star Case is available for all dealerships and this is the fix for everyone and not a bunch of gremlins plaguing these new trucks.

    2025 RAM 1500 BIGHORN 3.0 I HURRICANE twin-turbo, SO, 420HP - check engine light

I am no gear head so I am not sure. I was just told the faulty one's replacement ordered was not putting out what was needed. I didnt know there were multiples in vehicles. I really get sporadic details on my truck as it is. Today got a call that the part did come in today but won't be fixed...

    2025 RAM 1500 BIGHORN 3.0 I HURRICANE twin-turbo, SO, 420HP - check engine light

Surprise surprise...fuel pump didnt come in and won't be in until next week now...another excuse and another week delay...the beats just keep on hitting. Anyone have any Lemon Law advise?? I don't want to go to that because I like this truck but I can't have this repair going into perpetuity...

    2025 RAM 1500 BIGHORN 3.0 I HURRICANE twin-turbo, SO, 420HP - check engine light

My dealership has run the gambit of "diagnoses " that have all been listed on this thread, except loose connectors (probably next)...first was software update, next kinked fuel line, and now I'm waiting on a fuel pump that wasn't putting out...tech did ask what fuel I use ( probably to blame...

    2025 RAM 1500 BIGHORN 3.0 I HURRICANE twin-turbo, SO, 420HP - check engine light

Ram Manager sent me an update that the part needed for my repair will arrive to their parts distribution center no later than Monday. Once it arrives, they will get it packaged and shipped out and should arrive to the dealer early next week. He said they usually overnight the parts once they...

    2025 RAM 1500 BIGHORN 3.0 I HURRICANE twin-turbo, SO, 420HP - check engine light

Well...fuel pump did not come into the dealership yesterday (I dont know why this is srprising given the run around Im getting on this issue)...no call from the Service Tech. I call the Service Department and another Mensa Society inductee looks up my information and cannot find any notations...

    2025 RAM 1500 BIGHORN 3.0 I HURRICANE twin-turbo, SO, 420HP - check engine light

Update my 2025 Ram 1500 Laramie CEL issue...fuel pump supposed to be in mid next week (their fix atm)... Service guy asked what fuel I put in it ( I see where this is going...gonna try to blame me for the problem like some others on this thread). He said the Regional Service Tech is on the job...
