The truck broke down in Indiana so it is at a dealership there about 3 hours from where we live. He has a claim number and the denial came straight from Chrysler not second hand from the dealership. I agree a good dealer can help but it is not the dealer saying it’s denied.
I want to make sure this community knows about a troubling issue that I have been made aware of recently. Let me state that this post is intended to do two things: 1. make people aware of chryslers policy to deny warranty coverage for doing your own oil changes and 2. If any one has any...
This is a 1 year old meticulously maintained truck that was denied warranty for the reason that he cannot prove oil changes were made. Even though he has receipts for oil and filters he was told that he can’t prove they were for this truck. They can do this to anyone. I’ve been doing my own oil...
A good friend of mine was recently denied warranty coverage for his 42,000 eco diesel main bearing failure because he does his own maintenance. Even though he had oil receipts they said he couldn’t prove he changed the oil. Total BS as I also do all my own maintenance. I am going to do a...
Sweet ride. Perfect stance. Unfortunately, I don’t think there’s much that can be done to improve fuel economy. Lifted and bigger tires really cut into the fuel economy
I second the previous post. Easy install. Only issue was getting the range to read properly. Big thank you to Bw1605 with helping me with that. There is also an issue with the third tank strap but we have a solution for that too.
good luck.
My last truck was a 2010. One manifold went at about 3 years and 40k miles. The other went about 8 years and 90k miles. Sold the truck at 9-1/2 years 130k miles. Never had another issue. Truck was very reliable with no issues at all other than a blend door once on hvac and wheel bearings...
That is very odd, probably something very rare. I have 52k mikes and not even close to needing changed. Hopefully it’s an easy fix and your next set lasts as they should.
Not to imply your a bad driver, but have other vehicles you’ve owned had normal brake wear (50k plus miles). Only reason...
Mine just stated to leak. I am at 52k miles so at least I can get it replaced under warranty. My truck has been perfect so far and this is the only issue I have had. However, I feel that this type of failure should have been resolved. I had both replaced over the years on my 2010. Since we...
Mercedes with the help of Bob Eaton is what basically destroyed the Chrysler Corporation so I have vowed never to own one.
hate to see a good forum member leave, especially to that brand.
