You're tailgate when you open it clears the lightbar right? When I open mine it almost touches the center of those 2 humps on either end of the plastic. I think I'm going to mount mine where you have. I thought originally I would have to cut out those plastic humps.

I know, they made ones for the 4th gen that looked really good. Hoping they will produce them for the 5th gens.

Mine did that last weekend and I've only had it a month. Had it in the dealer Monday to replace the passenger power folding mirror and I guess they filled my washer for me bcs the light is off and the reservoir is full..hehehe

Got my new passenger mirror installed this morning and all seems fine. Said in the writeup that a latch was not attached inside the mirror.

Took it to the dealer Monday, they are ordering a whole new mirror assembly. Said something to the effect that the gears came apart inside or they were never connected? But that was from the service manager and not the tech..hehe

Would having the passenger side power fold mirror not working cause you to fail a State inspection? Everything else works and its more of a luxury then a safety feature I would think?

I installed one on my wife's 2014 and ordered one for my 2020..never had any issues and great customer service.

I think I only moved it back and forth once then tried it. I will try it tonight.
