Another update. The insurance company called me. They are sending me a check for a little over $2k. It is up to me to get it fixed to my satisfaction.
Since this was a liability claim and not a vehicle claim per se, they did not even document my vehicle so to speak so there would be no Carfax...
Just an update. A reputable detailer looked at it and gave me his opinion. I’ll reserve the discussion until the insurance is settled as the insurance company sent an appraiser this morning.
The appraiser didn’t care how big a scratch was or how many chips or scratches were on any specific...
My 14 Ram had the 32 gallon tank (or 33, whatever it was) and this time around I thought if it had it or not, no big deal. The reason, I always steal ;) my wifes’s gas grocery points but it will only allow you to take 25 gallons and the pump shuts off. After that, the discount is gone so I only...
Please excuse the large photo. Circled and arrowed are the chips in the paint. No dings fortunately. I have a meeting with a shopnthat does Ceramic Coating set up as these guys know how to prep paint. You would think after the morons heard a few hits they would have stopped. Nah, just kept...
The inner flames were blazing for sure. I would have liked to handle it the way I would have 20 years ago ;) but I've learned that just costs me money then. ;)
A few of the nicks are nail noticeable. Agreed about a body shop vs. a detail shop. There is a Detailer that does Ceramic Coating a...
Short story..........
Neighbor’s Landscapers chipped the hell out of my truck.
Long story.........
My neighbor is having some sod installed at the edge of his property, Landscapers decided to level his ground using a weed whacker, sending stones all over the side of my 1 week old black...
Oh, and FWIW, my immediate dealer is offering $13k off sticker right now via commercial. Of course it is stock #xxxxx but if they are offering that, I would expect $13k off any current incentive vehicle, ie, Big Horn. Makes me mad as they didn’t have a vehicle in stock I wanted and I “only” LOL...
They are features depending on the trim level in prior years. My 2014 Big Horn did have this feature as now my 19 has. I think what I pressed me more now, lol, is that my 19 has a sunglasses holder on the ceiling. Always bugged me that my 14 didn’t have that.
@techieanalyst said it perfectly, I have noticed a similar experience between 3.21 and 3.92.
FWIW, I owned a 2011 F150 with a 3.5 Ecoboost and 3.55 gears. When I moved to my 2014 Ram with 5.7 and 3.92s, on average I saw a 1 mpg increase making the Ram better on gas. The 2.7 is going to work...
Mine was built 6/18 and although it has Level 2 on the sticker, there is no AC outlets listed on the sticker whereas the website configurator says it is to receive them. Being it is not on the sticker, I really don’t have a leg to stand on but to be honest with myself, my 14 had it and I never...
My bed mat arrived and it appears to fit. It is the Access "19-ON RAM 57 BOX (NON-RAM BOX)" Version, Part #25040239
This is everything you get in the package. Note that it comes rolled up so you'll want to leave it out in the sun to flatten down. Being I live in Pa where it seems to rain...
Welcome to the brand. Don’t sweat the complaints. Most people who post to the internet about issues are highly outnumbered by people who don’t have issues.
Not piling on but one thing that really bugged me about the Laramie was that beautiful stitching all over the dash to only find out it was hard plastic and not real leather or even pleather.
Well call me surprised and impressed. NTFS does work. That makes me back pedal on the SSD drive though. While my standard HD spun up and the system recognized it was connected, it being NTFS was not the issue with reading it.
With @202snowman just trying an SSD with similar results, that throws...
