    Pulsar

They call it an inline computer, which would support what you are saying. Based on the images, and the description on their website, I think this is correct. So it looks like it would not leave a trace, to me. I've used piggy-back computers before, and as long as they don't actually flash the...

I’m going nuts with 3.21s and 35” tires

The MPH reading will change, RPM won't. RPM isn't calculated, its mechanically determined by the speed the wheels are turning and the gearing, regardless of how much ground you're covering per revolution.

MPG effect of 3.92 rear end

Are you not taking a bath on depreciation of the trade-in vehicle? Even if the new one averages 20mpg, it will take you 10 years (and 380k miles) to recoup even $5750. That's driving 104 miles for 365 days a year. If you are only making the drive 5 days a week for work, the savings drop to...

Cheap intake upgrade o my Limited really made a difference.

Engine RPM is entirely controlled by the amount of air and fuel entering an engine. Modern engines have idle air control valves (or idle speed control motor) that bypass a closed throttle body to keep the engine running when your foot is off the throttle. Changing the air filter doesn't alter...

MPG effect of 3.92 rear end

I would expect a significant decrease in mileage from the 35" tires. Heavier, higher rolling resistance, and essentially adding another 1.5" of lift to your truck. Combine that with the off road group, and you are experiencing significantly more aerodynamic drag, which multiplies with speed.

Who converted to pickup trucks because of the 2019 Ram

This is pretty much exactly me. I have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, but I got a base Laredo with absolutely no bells or whistles. I still really like the car, though, I just want more stuff (towing, 4x4, comfort and tech features, etc), so I was looking at a 2019 Trailhawk. Then I saw the Rams...

    New truck help/advice

I've decided against the Rambox purely based on weight. It looks like they will eat up about 163 lbs of payload, based on the payload sticker thread. Regarding the off-road package, you could always remove the skid plates if you needed to get back some payload.

    New truck help/advice

I've nailed down pretty much everything I want, and for me, the biggest thing about the level 1 and level 2 equipment groups is that you have to get level 2 in order to get the advanced safety group. And I really want the advanced safety group to get adaptive cruise control and the surround view...

Payload discrepancy between door jamb sticker and RAM web site

Ah, yeah, thanks for that clarification.

Payload discrepancy between door jamb sticker and RAM web site

Essentially, every V8 truck has a GVWR of 7100 lbs. Every option or configuration change affects the weight of the truck. The advertised number is for the most basic, no options truck for the given configuration (cab, bed, drive, etc.), and the Limited trim is far from that.

    Lifetime Warranty?

I was planning on ordering a Ram in the next 6 weeks, in large part due to the lifetime warranty. I am going to reconsider that, now. I'm not sure how many people factor that into their decisions, but there is certainly the potential for lost sales.

    Off Road 1” Lift

I've wondered about this too. Does it affect the front end rake at all, or is that still there with the ORG? Ram lists the ground clearance at 8.7 inches, stock, but I don't know if that is overall ground clearance or just the higher back end.
