My truck is broken and they don't know how to fix it. Anyone else have this problem?

HI,

I bought a 26 Limited in December that replace a 23 Laramie. I had a 19 Laramie before that. I love those trucks and really love the new enginge and suspension in the 26. My new truck has issues. The backup camera image locks up and is choppy. The same thing for the review camera. The passengar screen comes will not come on sometimes. The interface is slow and flashes white when switching screens. My phone will not connect roughly 30% of the time. I took it into the dealer twice. The last time it was in the shop for 1.5 weeks. They opened a Star case and I was told they were going to order a new radio for it. That was over 3 weeks ago. I have tried to reach out to my case manager at Stalantis and the dealer and neither will call me back after multiple emails and voicemails. I finally go ahold of someone else at Stelantis and they told me my case was closed, the radio was not ordered, and the radio would not fix it the problem. They said my original case manager would call me with an update. It has been 3 days and nothing. I think they want me to live with it. I am super disappointed with how this has been going. I am a loyal customer but not sure what to do at this point. Anyone else going through this? Suggestions on getting this resolved.

Document everything. Even with the best brands, there can still be lemons.

What state are you in? That can tell us the threshold for lemon law, and starting that process can sometimes kick Stellantis and/or your dealership into "crap, he's serious" mode to resolve your issues.

Hi there! Please send our team a private message with your case number or VIN so we can take a further look into this for you. We're happy to help!

I am in NC. The law states 20 business days out of service or 4 or more attempts to fix to qualify for lemon law. I went through that with a F150 before I got my Ram. I would need to bring it in again for it to qualify but according to the last rep there nothing to do except wait for an update to fix it. My buddy has my same truck and the same software version without any issues. I don't think it is software related. Maybe I take it to a different dealer but I am blown away that my case maanger at Stellantis will not return my calls or emails. I am OK if the truck is a lemon but I want the company to make it right.

Definitely different dealer, or at least that would be my advise. Way too many use the "just wait for a software fix/update" excuse when they don't want to troubleshoot your vehicle.

In this case being a 2026 model, based on his issues, most likely it is a software/firmware update that is needed. Unfortunately, Stellantis engineering probably won't waste too much time creating a patch for a single vehicle. He's probably looking at lemon law at this point, if he doesn't want to wait for software revision.

I dont either, that sounds like hardware

Does seem like hardware/connector issue, however, while you're fencing with RAM put the truck on a trickle charger to bring the battery to nominal condition. See if that impacts the issues.

We need more people filing Lemon Laws.
Wonder if metrics could be obtained with what brand/model has the most Lemon Laws filed.
Between Consumer Report rating Ram as least reliable and get enough Lemon Laws filed, that should hopefully raise a red flag for them to actually address these issues.

Lemons laws cases for what? This seems more like a incompetent service center than anything else; other trucks would need to be exhibiting the same issues to warrant that
