What did you do to your Ram today???

This was my previous Limited MY22 5.7 e-torque battery.

It always worked, but 70 Ah and 680 A of starting power always seemed low to me...
I often thought about changing it for a bigger one.

And also it was EFB...and not AGM
I wonder if it was swapped for some reason. Everything I've seen H7 is stock. Many upgrade to H8

To my knowledge, I've never seen an H6 in these trucks.

I will say, I feel a lot better with the H8 and noticed better starting performance.

Another important point: If you notice sluggish starting, it might not be your battery. It ended up being my starter being about to die. Ever since the dealer put a new one in, the truck cranks considerably faster.

..... interesting....
But H7 and H8 how many Ah produce ?

And dimensions ?
Thank you

To fit the H8, you need to remove the spacer in the battery tray. I've heard the 25/26 has changed though.

Here's the typical Battery I always replace with

Walmart Platinum H8 AGM

@CHeYeNNe71, thank you.
Here (EU) batteries are catalogued in a different way.
I think the h8 will be 800A - 80Ah at least.
Now I have a Rebel X 2025..... I'll go and check....

You're Welcome. Yeah someone posted 25+ doesn't fit a H8 because there is no spacer to remove now. You might be able to fit the H7 upgrade then?

I this yes ! Now the RebelX is new (very new.... ) and is ok, but I think the next work will be the change of the smal battery because Start & Stop don't work because of "battery is charging".
Tomorrow I'll go to the dealer

You can get close to 100aH from an H8 if its one of the higher end ones like Interstate, Optima, etc.

I didn't realize you're in EU. They might have very different regs there. I wonder if they have H8's available there?

But.... Does anyone know wich battery can be used for the services? I'm referring to the small battery. Many Thank's.

@TheWaterman83 , Tomorrow I'll take measurements to (eventually) install this one (see photo) 95Ah and 850A

It's 39° this morning in Wisconsin and I'm retired, so what better to do with the day than...wash, dry, clean, & sparkle up the Ram and Wifey-pooh's Durango and Dry wash & prep Wifey-pooh's Miata for winter storage. Oh, also retorqued ALL the new-ish Rear suspension bits on the Ram. And, reset tire psi from 39F/35R to 36.5F/33R to try lower psi for comfort? (tires were low anyways from the colder temps)..seems pretty good being lower psi.
Man, I really love how GCM sparkles when freshly washed!
(It's beer-thirdy time now🍺)

I got these today! I'm not sure how good they will be, but grease fittings always make me happier than not 🤪
I also have a new M12 grease gun I've never used its locked and loaded 😵‍💫
I've got those also..don't over grease them (just a couple pumps) or they will crap out grease forever (even Red n Tacky)!
They are nice and heavy duty though, and a good price.
I ended up using my Progress Tech Rear endlinks, but the front TTX are on my workbench waiting to go in.
Let us know what you think of them.

They look a lot better than I had (stock) I'm changing a lot of stuff at one time so it may be a little difficult to isolate them as an improvement..
I can update on quality in the near future and I've been warned no more than 2 squirts of the red and tacky. I've always used the red and tacky based on experience, but when Project Farm tested it I felt even more confident in it.

what spacer that battery dropped right into my 2020 and my 2019

Did you buy the truck used or was it new? I guess stranger things have happened but anywhere you

Curious how those compare to the SuspensionMaxx in the front.

For the rears, I might have to look into them as replacements for my Moog's.

I'm almost positive when I replaced my battery to an H8 I didn't remove a spacer. I'm just as positive it was the factory battery.
I was inclined to do the moog end links but they weren't very exciting. These aren't either, but they look it in comparison
