Rubbing Spindle & Lower Control Arm

Has anyone found a fix for this or is this much grinding and dipping just a thing?

There is no fix. It's meant to do that from the factory. You'll get that with stock ride height if you turn to full lock. I guess the only fix is don't turn the steering wheel all the way.

So in my case i ordered/used the Rough Country pre-loaded struts and they were not meant for a V6, only for a V8. The spacer kit that modifies your existing strut is what will work for trucks with a V6. The preloaded strut gives and extra 1.5” lift and causes the horns to be unalligned with the lower control arm and will tear away on the aluminum lower control arms.

I have the same issue right now!

Were you able to figure out the issue?
I’m having this same issue aswell. I have the ready lift , don’t know when it started. But it’s pretty bad

The bump-outs are there to give you some sacrificial wear material and prevent getting the suspension into extreme bind angles that *really* damage things. You could smear some thick grease on them I guess. Or someone could design a replaceable wear pad kit, and I have no objection. Go ahead and build some, put 'em on the market and see how it goes. Only other thing I would say is "wow, y'all spend a lot of time bouncing around at full lock".

I got under truck this morning, I noticed the spindle and lower control arms had rub marks. Both sides same spots...

Any one have input? Is this normal from extra flex off roading?

Or could it be from the geometry on 3.5 Rough Country Lift?
So I guess this is a common issue rough country recommends when getting your truck alignment to get turn stops so your truck can’t turn all the way and rub the lca and spindle

Readylift makes a solid kit. The 3.5" kit is not a true lift because it is all spacers and doesnt have a differential drop. That being said, these couple trucks that are having issues have the offroad package so already have an extra inch of lift. That is most likely the reason for these problems. Many are running the 3.5" Readyoift with no issues. If it is going to stay on pavement it will be fine. If you are going to be offroading I would stay away from it.
Heys folks newbie here, I just installed the 3.5" RC on a 2023 GT Sport, I'm getting the same marks on lower control arms. Also I've had a weird issue happen 3 or 4 times now, first couple times I thought I was my imagination, as I'm driving roughly highway speeds, taking turns on over passes and such, when the truck dips or heaves over the overpass seams, It feels real odd in the steering and the wheel actually stops steering almost like it's trying to straighten out for a split second....it's VERY unnerving. Anyone else have this kind of issue or is it related to the steering stops aswell? Would appreciate any input.
