2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

I just like power. I don't know anything about MPG gains -- don't really care. That was Riding Deacon in an earlier post about him getting good mileage after the JB4 tune in post #2078. I don't know what it was before. You would have to clarify with him for clarification.
No real gains in MPG, pre or post JB4 tuner install....though I am GETTING better mileage post JB4 install. I think it's coincidental to no more winter fuel (which lowers the octane) and the return of "better" performing summer fuel. Just returned from a 600 mile trip down to NY an back.......20.8MPG on the road, 75MPH, no load, two passengers in the truck. But I am running Shell nitro 93 octane.....at $3.89/gal. Can spin the tires all day long in tune MAP #1. Easy install.....very good technical support from Burger Motorsports.

By any chance, does the JB4 tuner have the capability to disable the auto on/off start feature?

you can disable it by hitting button below the shifter
Sometimes I press the button too quickly and I don't notice it didn't register. But more importantly, I would love to save myself the step of having to press the button every start up. The feature is ridiculously stupid, at least for my drives. A 45 minute commute to work, and maybe my truck turns off 2 times for 4 seconds total.

Ditto, all of that.
Does anyone else’s N light blink going to or shifting through neutral? Mine blinks twice like.. “I’m getting there, one sec”

If it only turns off 2 times, why even worry about it? If it was starting and stopping on your constantly, I could see trying to do something about that, but 2 times in the whole drive to work?

I just don't like it. Plus, I don't like the extra wear and tear on my truck. I paid for it, I would rather it didn't turn off unless I'm telling it to. Just my 2 cents, but I try to disable it on any vehicle I own. I even try to disable it in cars that I don't even drive, like my wife's car.

The whole auto stop start thing is a gimmick to start with. Real world savings is nothing or almost nothing, and when you factor in the cost and R&D of the system that has already been built into the purchase price, you will probably never recoup that money with the few cents in gas money you save.

We can all thank the CAFE standards put in place by the "we're gonna die from global warming" government officials who said "the earth would be destroyed" over 15 years ago.
