I said 6.4. You assumed BGE. This thread has mentioned both of them several times. Now that it has been made very clear to you which engine I am referring to, maybe you can move on and stop arguing completely inane points.

I didnt assume anbything, you said 6.4, not the SRT 6.4 which is a distinct difference

I've also made the decision to upgrade my shocks to more heavy duty shocks, yet my truck isn't "heavy duty". Imagine that

As for the cummins, they don't build the 5.9 anymore even the 2500. Please keep up. And I'd never purchase the 6.7 because A) it's probably 12k+ CAD over and above the hemi, and B) it has diesel issues which I refuse to get into. The heavy duty gasser is where its at for my towing needs.

Yet you still have a light duty truck and the 5.9 (both gas and diesel) were in the 2500 which later went to the 6.7. Your fallacy is that you keep making the HD engin comparison in relation to a light duty 1500 truck. You have produced zero evidence to support your of an duty cycle issue with the hurricane or any issue with the hurricane at all.
You simply dont like forward progress and use BS excuses to complain about it just like in the previous thread on the same subject. You cried there as well and guess what, no 6.4, (either version) for the 1500. Rather than continually whinning about not having a "HD gasser for towing" in the 1500, buy a 2500

You assumed. If I said 6.4 in a thread that previously mentioned both the BGE and SRT, then if it isn't clear to you which one is being mentioned then you need to clarify before picking one option and arguing against it.

And now you're just stubbornly arguing this inane point for no reason. You can drop it if you choose to.

In the end, some truck buyers want a NA v8 engine because they have them on the shelf already, right now, and it has a better duty cycle (among other equally attractive features).

Better duty cycle is not an opinion, its a fact backed up by the engineers themselves and decades of knowledge building engines.

It's that simple. The rest of your posts are just bloviating nonsense, mixed with complete BS (you don't understand GM's engines either and left completely false statements, several times), mixed with false assumptions that you refuse to move on from (like the fixation on SRT vs BGE).

This thread has devolved into a steaming pile of 💩💩💩💩💩💩

It has, hasn't it? And all because he wants to pretend there are no advantages to the hemi over the hurricane. Who would have thought a thread celebrating the return of the hemi would bring in such intense arguments from hurricane guys.

But I'll take the hint and move on.

He is now chilling permanently inside my blocked users list.

Never said that and conversely, you did

Still with the BS, you said what you said, you just got caught and cant be wrong

None of which you provided any facts for, just your opinion. You or Ram engineer, whose would I value more, hmmmmm
