some POV of what proper suspension setup can do in the desert:View attachment 201140
Went camping in 35mph wind and 55mph gust.
GFC took it all really well.
Also chaperone new customers at the shop for some trail runs and showed them what proper suspension setup (non LT) can do in the desert while playing with different adjuster settings.
Went through some choppy sections at 55mph that would've sucked for sure with my sagging previous springs but with the new springs and new adjuster settings the truck just wanted more (and faster) i was even catching up to the 3rd gen with Carli Dominator. I think something's not right with that lol i need to rerun another section that I ran with my old springs to confirm it.
Went through some medium sized whoops at 40mph and not once did I rub the fender liner or bottomed out. I'd rubbed the crap out of liner and bottomed out so many times with the old springs.
Big whoops were fine no rub or bottom out but massive seesawing effect made me slow down. Probably could've gone fast but I wasn't trying to push it with trips every weekend planned this month.
What polish and sealant to you typically use?Detailed the ol’ rig

They have several different 425 but I bought the one that looks exactly like yours.
I have thought about it, however, I did add a ton double-sided tape in the spot that keeps failing, hopefully that will help a bit.You should just get them bed lined at this point!
Figured it was time for my annual post. This will be more of a “What did you do to your RAM in the last year???”
Replaced my Weather Guard toolbox with a newer model and installed an Agri-Cover Access Toolbox Roll-Up Cover.

Added an AMP Research Bedstep 2.0 on the driver’s side.

Installed a Ranch Hand rear bumper.

And most recently, found a local set of 2025 Laramie takeoffs.
My ‘19 now identifies as a ‘25… lol

Oh, and in the midst of all that, had to have over $10k worth of hail damage repaired. I’ll spare those pics as it brings up painful memories… lol
How did you get farm truck plates? Can I ask what it's used for?
I like the tonneau cover with the tool box.
I’ve tried 2 from that company and been very pleased. The one I posted is what I use to do yearly up keep no deep cutting just a polish and then seal. I have another one from same company for cutting and it’s very effective and cut my work time down tremendously. They have several different 425 but I bought the one that looks exactly like yours.
The also another have a 425 with wax in it.
I was using Meguiar's heavy cut compound for years. I ran out and picked up a new bottle off the same but it wasn't the same.I’ve tried 2 from that company and been very pleased. Thanks. In Oklahoma, you have to provide an agricultural tax exemption card or schedule F income tax form when you go to the tag agency. It signifies that the vehicle is used for ag purposes (I help my family farm/ranch).

its not that aggressive but easier to work with. I probably use twice as much as before now so I'll be looking for something else.
Nebraska has farm plates as well, but you have to live in rural Nebraska and own a certain amount of land that you get income off ofI'm surprised they don't have something like that here in Montana. I think you can register as a farm vehicle and Insurance obviously as well, but no special plates (unless you are paying extra for cool looking plates).
I'll have it on today! New double sided arriving today. I already have some, but I thought getting fresh would be better.I'm surprised they don't have something like that here in Montana. Are they any cheaper on the yearly renewal and such? For example, since I'm a disabled vet all my fees are waved after the first registration which is only 30% of the normal registration. Basically I pay $50 the first year I register a vehicle and nothing else.
Did you get your fender flares back on? I'm curious because I want to check the adhesive quality on mine because I know it's not the greatest and how you went about replacing it.
Ouch!Michigan has the ag plates as well, just need to show ag income.
