I have a 2021 Ram 2500 diesel Laramie crew cab long bed. Can I tune it and put bags on the rear end for it to be able to pull a fifth wheel with a loaded weight rating of 18,350 lbs and a hitch weight of 2,950 lbs?

Does your truck have enough payload capacity for a 3k lb pin weight? You can’t just add air bags to increase capacity.

3,160 is my payload rating
You don’t have the capacity. You have 200 lbs for driver, all passengers, any cargo, the 5th wheel hitch, and that is assuming the pin weight listed is accurate.

Is this on your door jamb or some chart.

I have a 2022 Crew Long bed with the Hemi. It's a Tradesman. I only have 3023 pounds of payload. There is no way a Laramie has more, especially with the 900ish pound hit the Cummins provides.

Look at your door jamb...I could be wrong...but I bet your payload is much closer to 2k, unless you got a 3500

You don't need a tune. The trailer weight is within the realm of a Cummins. The pin weight is no issue, even though you will find that your capacity is much less. The issue is the 2500 series has coils and their position on the axle are not great for high center of gravity loads...like Truck Campers and Fifth Wheel campers.

Plenty of people will say, the 2500 is derated, go by axle weights...and they probably aren't wrong...but the right combination of emergency maneuver and cross winds and you will understand why there are ratings applied to trucks.
