What did you do to your Ram today???

Did you install it yourself? If so, did you replace the gel pack? Some have had issues when not replacing the gel pack. There isn't any adjustments in AlfaODB. At least I couldn't get it to work.

The new one came with a new gel pack already attached (under the clear cover it ships with). I did make sure to scrape all of the old gel off (it stayed on the windshield when I removed the old sensor). Then I used a bit of glass cleaner to make sure everything was clean before installing the new sensor.

Does that have the rotating side rails that hold slats down? I thought that was an interesting idea, and would be interested in hearing how it worked out for you?

Yes, it's a good design and holding up so far. I'm not crazy about the plastic end caps as they have popped off once while un/rolling, but I was able to snap it back in.

I like how there are no visible creases, and no canister taking up space.

Was finally able to figure out my towing setup for the boat!

Picked up some Shifts and Grins leveling links to level out the rear a tad. Then figured out my hitch setup. Need a 2.75” rise for this boat.

I used plasti-dip matte black for ALL the chrome to see if I would like it. Might peel it off and have a shop vinyl wrap the chrome in matte black. My bumpers were chrome originally.
Had the stock wheels powdercoated in gloss black.

If you properly applied the Plastidip, it will last every bit as long as a vinyl wrap, and easier to touch up rock chipsm

Well, I replaced my dash corner speakers with Kicker speakers. The Metra harnesses made it a fast 5 minute swap.
I also mounted my radar detector to the mirror with my bellmount mount. I ran a direct wire into the liner, to the A pillar, to the foot well, where I wired it into the wiring harness for my AUX switches. Now I can turn on/off the detector with AUX 3 switch.

Dealing with a battery issue...in that I might need to take it to thr dealer.

2022 big horn back country with 1400 miles.

I'm blessed to have multiple vehicles to drive, so I decided to leave it in the driveway and drive the charger for the week, because the charger sat for 2 weeks.

Anywhoo....tried to start it... nothing. No lights, no crank...nothing when pressing the start button when foot is on the petal.

Just jump started it with the charger, fired right up. Dash light up like a christmas tree with 10 different codes. My code reader came up with the following:

Error 1: P1DB1....TCM low voltage
Error 2: P0562...low voltage
Error 3: U1267...no data from ESM on CAN
Error 4: U0422...ABS incorrect CAN
Error 5: P1DB1...tcm system voltage excessively low
Error 6: P0562...system low voltage
Error 7: U1267...no data from ESM or CAN
Error 8: P1DB1...TCM low voltage
Error 9: P0562...system low voltage
Error 10: U1267...no data from ESM or CAM


Tried to clear it, but Error continues. Took battery out and tried to charge it with my battery tender trickle charger...and the charger didn't like it one bit....both red and green lights are flashing....defective battery.


So question....since we know this is a wear and tear item, and I only had the truck for 4 months, is this something I can get warranty and replaced?

Most dealers just test the battery and if it checks good they wont replace it. As for all the error codes thats most likely from jump starting the truck, they should all go away after driving the truck for a bit with a fully charged battery.
