carrier on the right is the older model, I may look into using these in the future but that would increase costs involved in the process.
Imagine saving 12 bolts, machining 12 holes. And having to machine out a large flange surface on 100k + trucks a year.
Im guessing they did it for strength and to save money.

As of right now I’m using revolution gears that are custom cut to be used in the oem differential, we are using factory carrier and everything else.
I have plans moving forward about possibly front lockers and such or different ratios. I really think the 4.33 would be a good choice.
So we all know the gears are friction welded onto the carrier.
This week we are finishing up a full drop in front differential with a 4.10 or 4.56 gear set.

After 35 dyno pulls and 15 hours of street testing we are getting close to perfect on our 2019 ram.
27.4hp 24.4lbs of torque
This was on 37” tires so we will be doing some more testing and do some Dyno Pulls. There is no reason why we can’t hit 35whp on stock truck.
