I don't know of anyone on this forum or have seen a post where the proximity feature works (Limited or Tungsten).
Correct me anyone is yours works having the feature on in the settings menu
The better question for the forum is..............does this proximity feature work for anyone with who has it turned on in the settings menu? Like I said in another post, I rented a '25 Wagoneer and this feature, which was the same in the settings menu, worked flawlessly every time I approached...
I couldn't ever image going back to the 5.7 The Hurricane is just better in so many ways. Like you said, newbies that drive both of them will probably pick the hurricane -- just my guess.
I just like power. I don't know anything about MPG gains -- don't really care. That was Riding Deacon in an earlier post about him getting good mileage after the JB4 tune in post #2078. I don't know what it was before. You would have to clarify with him for clarification.
It's very easy to set up -- just a few wires. I think the directions are on a youtube video on the burger turning website after selecting Ram for your vehicle. Take a look.
The SO hurricane has a good bit more torque than the hemi -- and it just feels so much quicker and more responsive. The Hemi is very sluggish in my opinion, especially when downshifting under 50mph
I also forgot to mention ---- The proximity wake up feature actually works on the Wagoneer. About 10 feet away from the vehicle, the lights turn on and it "wakes up" just like the setting menu says. Too bad mine has never worked on my Limited with the same menu feature checked "on"! How hard...
