Mine does the same thing. Apparently they changed the remote start on the app so when activated won't let you unlock with app with the fob inside. On my '22 the app would remote start and unlock with fob inside. Maybe some safety feature.
Hate it here in the south on hot days. Turns off at stop lights and the a/c gets warmer -just sucks. Just make it part of my routine before I put in reverse out of the driveway.
From everything I've read, these truck don't do that. I think by proximity, they mean you press the fob within it's working proximity and everything lights up.
I have an old piece of farm equipment (hydraulic pecan tree shaker) -1977 model- with a slant six and still going strong with my business! Don't build them like that anymore.
Are you sure it said hands free driving with the green lights on each side of the cluster when you engaged it? Sounds like you were using assisted driver assist instead. Hands free is hands free unless there is construction zone or similar and it can't see the lines well. Then it will return...
Agreed -- My HO motor screams and I could care less about the mileage. I'm just enjoying the truck. Who gets a truck (if used as such) just for the mileage? They're trucks.
Did you ever get your AEB and hands free driving service required resolved? The dealer said they cleared a code and it started working again, but today, the crash detection off indicator on the dash was on and got the hands free driving service required message when I tried to activate it.
Yeah hopefully it was something wrong with them from their manufacturer and a fluke. I can't imagine what those convertors cost. OMG! I'm still going to floor mine often! Such a thrill!
Yeah, let us know what the ticket says about what the issue with the cats were. FastBlackRam was referring to people who continue to drive their cars after it overheats (coolant wise) being their fault. He was responding to my post on faulty thermostats.
I believe the issue was, according to the video, was that it was overheating too fast to stop the damage. I don't think it was just driving while overheating.
I hope it's not a widespread issue because I love this new HO engine. It screams! I'm waiting for them to get all the kinks and testing with the tuning process. Burger tuning knows their stuff.
