I think the S-type is the perfect balance. Throaty and mean but not obnoxious. The atak seems almost like it's trying too hard to be loud. The note is good but a touch too much. I live in a neighborhood where echos travel and did not want to be that guy.

Both! [emoji41]
I have a 6 inch lift, tires and a borla S-type. I can say that both options are fantastic but for different reasons.
Needed lift for extra ground clearance, larger tires and visual appeal. Lost a lot of gas milage doing this.
Boa to make the new size sound great and to get...
I have 35x12.5 R18 and will give you what I learned.
You will have to do some cutting on the inner lining. I have a 6 inch lift and could not get around that so expect that.
Also, call and speak with someone in the industry regarding wheel depth. My stock rims were 18x8 but I needed to go up...
To be honest, all of your criteria can be met with a base level truck with one or two packages thrown on it. I have the Hemi and have towed 7000 pounds a little way and it still works fine. You will take a hit on gas though. If you're driving that much I'd probably go toward the EcoDiesel with...
I have a Borla S-Type and love it. Fits great. One of the tips is slightly higher than the other so had to have that pulled down so it wouldn't hit the bumper but beside that, it's perfect.
I did have a local shop help with the install. Took about 1 hr.

If anyone is curious where I chose to do this, I put it above the circuit board. Had to get a custom-made bracket but went in clean and looks great.

Installed an ARB Dual compressor. Was difficult, no aftermarket brackets yet that I could find at the time but mounted it and looks and works great.

Someone may have to check me, but I am pretty sure it has to do with the seat belt. If the truck is in park with the brake on and the seat belt is fastened, the brake will disengage. But, if the seat belt is not buckled, you will have to disengage it manually.

I had something similar happen around 35k miles. Not sure if this is the same issue you are having without pics of the error but when I put it in 4H or 4L the shifter would act up and the transfer case would go back to 2H along with getting an error on the display.
I took it to the dealer and...
I was iffy at first because I never saw a lot of this combo. It was either red on black face or red on body matched face. I am really happy with how they turned out, and yes, having the chrome really draws the eye to the hooks and I love that!

I left the bezels alone cuz they are still pretty tucked in and puts more focus on the hooks. It's not professional but turned out awesome. Here is mine.

If they are black you can use a paint thinner and mix with sanding. Mine was chrome so had to do a a lot of sanding to get that rough surface.
After that, put 2-3 coats of primer at 20 minute intervals and then the final paint in a similar fashion. I hung mine from a wire clothes hook. Worked...
