Is it possible that those claiming no ANC issues kept their 6x9’s out of phase?
Update: Disregard, it appears that is exactly what was done. They swapped them back to factory and ANC was restored. Interesting…
Is anyone seeing any real benefit with swapping out the dash and door speakers? Seems to be some conflicting information with losing volume and no real gain in SQ. I have a 24 and it sounds pretty damn good, just needs more low end.

Mine is doing this now at 1800 miles. What is the real fix? I left my truck on, without running. Clear view of the sky. Truck actually shuts off if you leave it on.
After changing out the 3.5 JBLs I had to the much higher sensitivity of the Hertz 3.5’s, I was able to raise my bass and mid back up. Seems after the amp update, the fronts couldn’t keep up with bass.

The system before the update was very well balanced, just needed a tad more volume, not distorted bass. Most people like distortion and simply don’t realize what a truly balanced system sounds like.
I should have went with gut knowing the Hertz would do better based on sensitivity regardless of the 2.3 ohm JBLs. They just can’t keep up in comparison. They also fit better with a shallower depth and magnet.
Decided to try out the Hertz 3.5’s in the dash of my HK system in place of the JBLs. Glad I did, way more sensitive. I was able to turn my bass and mid back up to give a fuller sound.
