My understanding is when 4Auto - the front wheels are semi engaged all the time using a clutch to increase or decrease the engagement according to sensed slip (I probably didn’t explain it super accurately but thinks it’s close enough). When it’s on, you can feel it when slowing down on normal...
I found this picture online - but it’s a regular mirror (not tow) & I’m not 100% sure it’s the same model year - but it’s a separate projector. I also was looking up the parts diagrams online & “think” it’s part 18 in the diagram - but no configuration that I do of vehicle shows me what the...
I know some of the 25-26 Ram 1500’s with the newer style tow mirrors have the RAM logo light projection on the ground.
Can someone that has this feature take a picture to show the bottom of your mirrors? I’ve seen plenty of posts of people showing their lights projecting on the ground - but...
I’d also look at your fuse panels to see if there’s any leftover fuse taps, wires that lead to nowhere or are open ended/taped up. Could’ve been switches for lights, air compressor, radios, etc.
Could be a couple of things. Most common is noticing wetness on the headliner above the back seat. Common causes were/are the 3rd brake light on the roof leaking, and, part of the frame around the window cracking. Shows a line in it similar to this picture (not mine - one I pulled from a Google...
Received one today for my 2026 Big Horn. Took about 26 minutes. Believe it was for resolving connectivity issues when I read the “What’s new” info afterwards. No noticeable changes for me yet. But everything more or less worked before anyway.
Just had the stall happen again. Warmed up plenty, auto start/stop was off, slow right hand turn. Just made appt with my dealer for next week. Service person scheduling me refused to take down the TSB claiming “our techs get hundreds of these a week”. So what! I’m making it easier for them to...
I posted on this thread previously of it happening during a slow right turn, but I just had it happen again with the cruise control on, going straight around 75mph. It was freaky - engine stayed running, but could not accelerate with the gas pedal, could not turn cruise up or down. Speed was...
Did my 21 Limited with 17k miles on Vroom and they offered me $62k. I actually considered it for a minute - only because I have the 3.21 gears (prefer 3.92), aren’t crazy about the air suspension or eTorque (bought off the lot so took what was available). I’ve also had a low speed stall...
Whoever told you that a lift will do a blanket void of the powertrain warranty doesn’t know what they’re talking about. For any repair, a dealer will have to prove something aftermarket caused a failure to particular component for it to not be covered. Lifts have almost zero to do with the...
I think your gear ratio is the biggest factor. 3.92 not so much falling out of 8th. 3.21, expect it more often with bigger/heavier wheels and a lift.
Granted I’m speaking of HEMI experience, but the gears are biggest factor for what you’re asking. My 3.21 HEMI with the RC 5” and 35’s drops a lot...
I have a Tazer DT and pulled the code thrown after mine occurred. Something about the electronic parking brake if I remember correctly. Think it was a result of what occurred and. It the reason for the occurrence.
So - I may be answering my own question here, but, for anyone with the Rough Country 5" lift kit & air suspension on their truck, are you using the factory air links or adjustable? My kit was put on last week. I like the look for the most part, everything works in all modes and all that, but I...
