The secondary PCM is just to have an unlocked PCM for tuning that can be removed to have the factory original PCM put back in at any time. You can also get your factory PCM unlocked and tune that.

Wow, that's too bad. I've been reading similar encounters with the same conclusions, that he's just too busy. I've only used HemiFever in the past so will likely go that route again. I'll check into Diablotoona though, just in case. I'll be pissed if this doesn't make a difference or...

I've had MBRP systems on every truck except my new one. Can't say enough good about their product and customer service. I have the Borla S-Type now and it's deeper with a different rumble and definitely a bit quieter than MBRP. Like the above poster, it's more like the ATAK system.

I've had MBRP on every Ram I've owned except for this one. Love their sound and quality. Definitely recommend them.

The Borla S-Type is louder and deeper for sure, especially after a few weeks. When Diablo releases tuning for the 22's in 6 to 8 weeks I think it'll make the S-Type sound even better. I'm on the fence about adding a CAI but it also affects sound coupled with the tune so maybe the S&B.

Test drove a GT then bought a Limited and put the S-Type on. The GT sounds awesome to me. The S-Type is different... Deeper rumble and louder. Zero regrets.

I noticed the same thing. It activates as you're coming to a stop. And with the new Borla S-Type Catback, the start up again is kind of OK to me too. By comparison, I absolutely hate the stop / start nonsense in my '16 Cherokee. It infuriates me if I happen to forget to turn it off. Worst...

You might try Nic at Got Exhaust or Moe's Performance. I believe both sell MBRP. Or buy from MBRP directly? I think they just had a 15% off sale.

That's the muffler from the Borla S-Type Catback exhaust system and it's definitely 5th gen as it's on my truck.
