I’m almost instantly down from 18-19mpg average to 16mpg average after lift with ORP. Pretty shocking to see how fast the gas needle moves…
A few questions - When I calibrate the speedometer (just need to pick up the tool) will that help? Would re-gearing make an impact as well? Does anyone...
All done!
Mopar 2.5” fox kit, ORP springs, Falken Wildpeak 295/75r18. No rub.
Pictures do NOT do it justice
Only put 30mi or so on it but it rides really smooth. Speed bumps feel like nothing. No noticeable increase in highway noise.
I was concerned about the UCA angles but the installers...
Install the off road group springs (in front) instead of stock springs. Will bring the front up to 3". If vehicle will see any regular off roading, new UCAs may be recommended as the control arms that come with the mopar kit will be pretty maxes out. ORG spring part # 68320249ac
Awesome, thank you for the feedback.
I ordered some Wildpeaks yesterday (y) Looking forward to taking them on a few trips this winter.
Im 50/50 on the ORG spring as of now. I may just get the lift/tires done and put ORG springs in later.
And I agree, buy once cry once! Quality matters...
Me neither! Pleasantly surprised if its not a scam. Im cautious but hopeful. A friend of mine said he had ordered from amazon in the past and everything was fine.
Love it, looks great and not overdone.
Im in the process of getting almost the same result, however Im going to use the mopar 2.5" with ORG springs to get fully level in the front. Will probably replace UCA after a few kmiles or before my first off roading trip.
Im considering the...
Guys,
My local dealer is running a buy 3 get one free deal on tires. However, expected delays could be up to 90 days.
I found the same tire for less $ and fast shipping on Amazon (Falken Wildpeak at III 295/70r18)
I would not normally purchase tires on Amazon (no warranty, who knows what...
@Jeffjad Yea, I dont have a ton of faith in them. Too much business going through dealerships to expect too much attention to detail. Im going to talk with my local shop about it as well. Few of those guys built trucks often. I have a little time to figure this out as 35" tires are pretty...
I have had two dealerships tell me that the ORP springs "would not work" or they have not heard of people using them with the mopar lift. Anyone else have this feedback and if so how would you explain it to them in a way that puts them at ease? They said that the spring would not work in the...
Have you since replaced the UCAs ? how did you deal with this? I wont go off road more than 30% a year, but go our every winter/summer and want to be able to without worry.
This is almost identical to what I plan to do. Im biased but I think it looks GREAT. Have you have any rubbing issues with the stock wheel/new tire setup? And have you noticed any negative issues with the ORG springs?
I dont know why more people dont keep the stock wheels, I think they are...
Love it. Im probably going to do something similar as well.
Most shops I have been to with regard to 3-4" lifts only reccomend a few kits on the market. For instance the cheaper Readylifts, pro comps, etc have across the board been discouraged due the additional wear they would provide on the...
Hey everyone,
I like to carry a large 40oz water bottle (see attached photo), however have not found a good way to keep it secure in the middle console. (definitely too big for cup holders) It kind of crashes around in there while making turns.
First Idea was to mount a magnet to the inside...
