Taking your foot off the brake as soon as the starter engages eliminates the clunk that I hear on mine. We could be talking about two diff sounds but on mine the brake thing works
Dang new battery at 22k?? I just changed the battery in my Yukon. It was 9 years old. Always got 6 years or more on all my trucks. Hoping I won’t be installing a battery on my ram in less than 2 years
My ram doesn’t pass many gas pumps. Terrible MPG. If the Toyota is worse than 8 -9 mpg towing a 5000 lb trailer and 13 in mixed driving then it wins the Booby prize :LOL:
As a current ram owner and past ford,Chevy and many time gmc owner if you want a 10 year truck I’d get the Toyota. Not saying the ram isn’t a 10 year truck because I love mine but toyota still has the reputation as a long lasting vehicle . not saying you can’t or won’t have issues with a Toyota...
My rebel isn’t my DD and I certainly didn’t buy it for MPG but it’s a gas piggy. Worse than any of my last 7 trucks. 8 if you include my AWD Yukon. It’s bad when it’s not towing and it’s really bad when towing But I love it. Finally installed my hellwig sway bar today so I like it even more now ;)
Payload is obviously dependent on how you option the truck and you could end up with a fairly low payload truck. I’m fairly new to ram and I have a rebel that I regularly tow 5000 lbs with and it’s loaded with options so I am aware I have a low payload but for my application I’m not close to...
